It would fail miserably due to being incredibly overpriced and about as child safe as a bucket of badgers

I know most of you won't have the answer to this, but doesn't hurt to ask. Does anyone know if the 11.5" that Fansproject stated at TFCon measures from head to toes or top of the figure to toes?

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but if you look at the hexagonal holes in their crotch pieces, I imagine that's the connector port for them to be arms. Probably not for when they're legs, though.

I think it will be for when they're legs actually. From looking at the silhouette, it seems like they could connect onto a "frame" made of Motor Master. Maybe the car will form the shin (front of the lower leg) and MM's cab will form the calf (back of the lower leg).

Finally someone is giving Menasor some love. We needed a good combiner for the Stunticons and Fansproject won't disappoint.

That's pretty much how it is in "that pic we need to quote endlessly":

You can see that "Motormaster bits" go down well past Wildrider's front wheel---Wildrider isn't merely "below the knee" he's "in front of the calf".

Though IMHO, there won't be a direct connection formed by Motormaster between the ankle and knee---there will be some area that is pure Wildrider/Breakdown. Similar for the arms.

Im guessing that if its similar to this then the bottom of MM torso mode might plug into the hexagonal holes on the crotch sections on wildrider and breakdown where as the 'knee' section might plug into the front of the cars.

This looks cool but I have a feeling the TFC will tackle this combiner as well and I'm already invested into that size so this might have to be a pass for me.

I am completely psyched for fansprojects stunticons! I've been waiting a long time for a decent modern motormaster, and I doubt they will fail to deliver.

I'm interested in seeing how the connector ports will work.

So it seems as if the Stunticons will be very Lambo based looking at them so far... I'm ok with that but I wish Wildrider was based on a real car or all the team were new designs

The Madura is a latter design by the same designer as the Ankonian. The two are pretty much the same car with different lines. FP designers were probably using pictures of both without even knowing it. When I saw pictures of these prototypes way back in June of 2011 the pictures used for design were of the Ankonian. My guess is the changes made to the toy to make it not look exactly like the Ankonian, ended up making it look similar to the Madura.

I would have been intrested had the alt modes been G1 but FP have changed them and they're too Classics-verse for my display.

You'd think...but unfortunately, it's not so easy for them based on at least a couple past expirences...they either need to be told or shown how to do it
