Well, considering one of those just got an official release and has an existing 3P option, two are already in progress by other companies and a third is planned by another company, I'd imagine they aren't priorities for MMC, no.

 

I think it'll be catilla as the 6th member to which is kind of a shame as his bio is damn near a copy of razorclaws.

 

I think that's a great reason to add him to the group. Another cat who could go toe to toe with Razorclaw, fighting for control of the group but gets kicked out so Divebomb gets "reformatted" to the arm to keep Rex usable.

 

But seriously aside from Grotusque and Catilla are there ANY other smilidon transformers???

In any case their fiction should be interesting since both of those characters in some continuities are decepticons who defected (and while I know reformatted are pre faction, both could have joined the cons with the Preds due to friendship then left)

 

Don't forget too that Razorclaw is now gonna be substantially larger judging judging the combined Render. Maybe 9 Inches tall?!

True about all the above, but I like the aesthetic of MMC from what I am seeing. They look more like MP level of design and size. FP Menasor is cool but not G1 enough ans small and TFC Superion looks like an ape with those arms and Silverbolt not being a Concorde.
MMC should do a Bruticus since that is not on the horizon of any other company.

 

I was thinking the same thing, at 9 inches tall he could pretty much stand eye to eye with MP-10.

 

I guess I see that, it's just I'd like a little more verity in the team, carnivac might have worked, he's crazy but not dumb animal crazy like rampage, he's rip off your face mid conversation crazy and laugh while doing it crazy. Better for the group dynamic.

He was awesome. I think a lot of it was put down to stress/damage from to much front line combat.

UT's version just got a whole lot cheaper, costing only $59.99 if I'm not mistaken! That's a whole lot cheaper than these guys, even with MMC's early bird pre-order discount 

MMC and UT have beating each other up with a slew of enticing pictures and discounts, trying to win the fandom over. Is there more to come or is there were it all comes to a head?

 

Get FP menasor. No competition there.

(Of course I am kidding. Ut's is cheaper, more g1 exact, MMC is slighty better engineered, and is reimagined. It comes to preference)

If you're really torn, it's probably better to go for the one you can afford. That's the ultimate decider.

Both are great for their price points. Obviously I don't have any of them, but it seems to me like you really get what you're paying for with either set.

 

Isn't the $60 only for overseas retailers? By the time you factor in shipping, it's pretty much $75. Given that the UT figures are about 25% smaller than the MMC figures (Talon at 7.25" vs. War Hawk at about 5.5" compared to classics Prime) than value-wise they're even.

 

If I wanted more G1 looking Predacons Id get the 2010 reissue box set from Takara, which I did. I want something newer looking and updated, that's why I'm getting MMC Feral Rex.

 

MMC, I am in love with this Predaking. Is it possible that you would consider doing the Dinobots next, including a combined mode? I understand that many people don't like the idea of a Dinobot combiner, but they could just disregard that mode if they choose. Hell, even if you don't include a combined mode I would still snap up a set of MMC Dinobots. They are the logical opponent for Predaking! Get to it

$60, but at RK/Chim. Factor in the shipping from those places and they are around $75 at least

 

MMC's low price as a limited window, so there is a bit of urgancy with each item ordered.

UT's price is what it is, and if it is $75 for the figure and shipping, well, it sounds like it has MMC beat, if even by just a little bit--you're looking at the total cost.

Like I said earlier, go where your finances allow. If you can swing the extra money for MMC's masterpiece go that route, if not go with UT's.
