Seems MMC is moving towards more G1 look with Hexatron and Feral Rex. I want G1 combiners, not what FP is doing with their own interpretations of it. Yes it looks cool, but not G1. Even TFC and MT Devys are stylized versions.
If anyone can make a MP size and style combiner I think its MMC with what we have seen so far.

    Zone armor would be sweet.

really? I'd say if you want a strictly G1 Predaking, stick to UT. That seems to be the motive to make theirs like it is. Barring, of course, any untrustworthiness of an unproven company

I keep wondering about the "more balanced" comment they made. That wouldn't work for armor or weaponry. And it already looks pretty well-proportioned in gestalt mode with only 5 members. Though having a 4-legged beast mode would be literally better-balanced than bipedal. :)

    Seconded.

And Preordered. This is just too beautiful to pass up.

*sigh* My addiction to Predaking will be my downfall. :(

Gotta say, the idea of Member Six makeing it possible for Rex to have a combined 'super beast' mode would be the best option I've heard.

    I hope not!

I don't like the mystery price tag system that have in place--we have no idea how much the next one's going to cost. We thought they were all going to cost the same as Divebomb, but that's out the window. As things are now, Divebomb will likely be the cheapest one in the set (maybe the optional member too, but who really knows:lol ).

I do, however, like the idea of an early bird pre-order bonus, but I think they should either space out the releases a bit more for those early adopters or length the time to preorder--asking for the entire price all up front in a months time when it isn't expected can't be good for the majority of their customers.

Just to add in, for me in the UK a pre-order means a pre-pay. Thats fine, because I would always rather pay when I order than have to keep cash aside and remember when it is coming out, but lots of pre-orders close together doesnt always mean a Pile-Of-Loot setup and paying when we are ready, so spacing these out is better. I could just about go for two at these prices again (I pre-ordered Talon on Thursday and then Bovis two days later.....) and get two at that cost in the same month, but more than that would be expensive all in one hit.

Very late reply to MMC's latest news.

Ty MMC for answering my questions. Yes, ur designing with a 3d model and ty for giving the height target. While I agree with the height of 32 cm, I do know that there could be last minute changes.

Ty for the pre-order discounts. This is more inline with the rest of the Asia toy business model. Here are some challenges for the future: box set and lower combiner pricing. If Bandai can market a SOC combiner with some die cast for less than $300, I think MMC, you could too.

Some type of crazy mega beast mode would be great. It would be MMC's thing, they do alot of unexpected things, it wouldn't be the first time they had a surprise combiner gimmick. I can't think of a better place to hide a 3rd super mega powerful combined mode in the strongest combiner...

Can't wait to see this next to Hercules

MMC should rename their company to dream makers, I bet many a fella has dreamt of having a Predaking as such. Including myself.

    SIXTH FIGURE ANNOUNCEMENT:

He will be a Sabre-toothed tiger, an established character and a nice counterpart to Rampage, so you can balance the combined mode out with two similar arms, and move Divebomb onto the rear of the figure.

We moved up the schedule of this announcement, as speculation was starting to spread like wild-fire. Some of it on the money, some of it less so.

Only saber tooth tiger TF I know is TM2 Cheetor.

Already know I'm not buying the 6th figure because it's unnecessary and it'll be more expensive.

I'm just happy that the 6th figure doesn't have to be used for combined mode. A good balance for everyone.

So essentially Rampage with a different beast head or a new mold entirely?

    Sounds cool regardless.:D

    A retooled version of Rampage.

I won't confirm or deny who the character is yet, sorry.
