Hmmmmm, the torso does look very small in the highlighted picture. It's not PCC bad, but not fantastic either. Will have to wait and see though.

The difference is remarkable, my humble thanks, kind sir.

2nd'ed. I do prefer the emphasis be on the gestalt mode, if I had to choose. Not sure if I see that here, although both the other modes look amazing on all 5 bots.

I still think the paws on the Lion and Tiger are comically small. It really throws off the whole look IMHO.

Conversely, the Eagle's wings are huge in bot mode---of course they need to be huge to look good in combined mode, but surely they could add a hinge or two to have them fold up just a little bit in bot mode?

That wasn't a rumor, that was a guess. And I know because it was me who guessed it.

This will be a definite must buy as well as Hexatron.

I decided the steampunk thing was not what I wanted for display. So I held off on the the new seekers and Cyclops. .... Although I was DAMN TEMPTED with Cyclops. Especially with currently lacking any kind of Shockwave in the CHUG line.

The Ferocicons will seem weird not being their usual number. But it's not as much of a well loved group as the Arealbots for me. So, the shock of it has less impact and I'm kinda OK with it... Unlike the Arealbots.

definitely. The individual modes look fantastic. Even though the most important thing about a combiner for me is the gestalt mode, I may get these even if Predaking looks terrible. My Cons desperately needs more soldiers.

Crap, another Combiner that I'll most likely end up buying twice... between this an TFC Uranus I'm going to be very poor next year.

But in the end it will be great! Razorclaw v Grimlock!!! Divebomb V Swoop!!! Classic UK comic stuff :)  Is it strange to be more excited that the TFC Dinobots might be better single figures than their combined mode so you can have them against these guys?

And yup I'll be buying "not" Sixshot too.

yeah, looks a little thin/small. So does the head when you compare it to the size of the arms/legs. Still probably pretty early in the development stage though, lots of time to change :)

Nice! How on earth did I miss that?! Seriously these combiners from innovative 3rd Party Groups have potential to be beyond awesome. Count me in! :D

It's been a while since I've read the comics but I don't recall a sixth member for Predaking being shown in the Dreamwave continuity, nor have I seen him in IDW. If the 6th member is teased in these continuities, please give us a better hint as to where.

Well there have been far more than six dudes referred to as "predacons" so it could be pretty much any of them. MMC has said (or rather, someone said MMC said) that the Ferocicons are intended to represent the Predacons before the war, whatever that means. So really it could be anything.

Could be a situation where you can form the arm with divebomb and the torso is razorclaw, or there's an alternate configuration where dude #6 is an arm and divebomb and razorclaw for a larger torso together.

Could not be. Could be bad information from jump street. No way of knowing. When there is more to know, someone will post it.

Good question.......but since it's Predaking, i'd hazzard a guess they'll want to match Hercules' size.

The figures are all around Voyager size, except Razorclaw who is larger to form a big torso. It was a fine balancing act all round, as the animation model and logic behind a combiner dictates that not-Razorclaw has to be substantially bigger than the others, but then that throws out his alt. mode, which on the original toys is in scale without the others. I can say this took a LOT of work to get a good compromise.

Final scale on combined Ferocicus is about the same height as Hercules.

Sixth member is not what people think, but is a lot of fun, giving way to an optional, more balanced transformation.
