I've ordered from CP a few times and want to order more stuff in the future (Hegemon will be mine!.... Eventually), So I like captured prey too, but are we are really gonna call ~$5 off the difference between a real price and an inflated price?

 

Just realized... these bots are 7.25 inches tall!!? That's the size of Assaulter! A bit on the ridiculously freakin' huge side if you ask me... should be fun!

If you haven't noticed MMC already has my money for this set, they just don't know it yet.

The fact that a smaller company that most likely purchases a smaller quantity consistantly beats the big boy prices is what I refer to as an inflated price.

The more you buy the cheaper the price and BBTS most likely pays the least for figures because they are the biggest online NA e-tailer out there.

I don't want to get in to it because my feelings for BBTS are well known here but I vote with my wallet and so do many others. Not long ago CP was a young upstart e-tailer. Due to their customer friendly prices and ways they have grown exponentially and many TFWers now by from him.

My post is less about BBTS pricing practices and more about how AWESOME Captured Prey and Sidecutter is/are.

No, just pre ordered divebomb and now this well, guess im going to sell off my collection and go strictly 3rd party and masterpeice.

 

I just did some measurements via the info from TFsource. The combined mode is suppose to be roughly 12. inches tall while each figure stands around 7-7.25 inches. Though This is TALL as hell he only stands about an inch taler than MakeToy Giant if these numbers are correct.
I'm still deciding though on which set to get. The MMC set or the Unique Toys set. Both looks really good.

 

Well I can definitely agree that side cutter is awesome. I do buy stuff from him, just mostly in stock items because that's how I budget stuff. If I paid up front for all the stuff I preorder, I'd be flat broke so unfortunately CP isn't really an option for me on stuff like this.

I just think its a little silly to attach such strong words to $5. Hey, I get it! $5 is $5. But also, $5 is just $5. Factor in shipping differences and that savings generally cancels itself out.

Again, nothing against side cutter. I am frequently impressed with the business he runs.

 

Ceno just told us that the combined mode from feet to head will be 32cm, that equals 12.64". That does not include any height gained from the wings and back blasters.

P.S. Herc is only an inch taller than Giant. An inch does not sound like a lot in the grand scheme of things but it adds up quickly when you are talking about things that are about a foot in height. And keep in mind, where there is extra height there is extra girth as well.

 

Being only about an inch or two taller than Giant is good for me. I want him to be taller but not so much to where it looks out of place compared to my other Decepticon combiners being roughly the same height.

bbts sells everything toy and collector related that u can think, and then some.

 

Seems this will scale better with Giant than Herc which is good cause I sold off my Herc. Also, BBTS is a better option for those that can't pay everything upfront and with the pile of loot, you are saving alot on shipping. Seeing how these are coming out in stages, you can leave them in the pile till they are all complete and shipping will come out to about $3-$4 a piece.

So, they have pre-orders R-02 and R-03. Did they skip R-01? The numbering is a little confusing. I certainly don't want to miss out on one of these, and starting with 02 makes me a little nervous. Or OCD. Or both.

 

Sorry, I was just busting Transbot's chops with sarcasm. I love CP and have nothing against them. When TB starts going off on BBTS for being successful sometimes I like to give him a hard time.
