I second Daimchoc's recommendation: update the megathread. It'll get too confusing toggling between different threads.

I agree, daimchoc's format makes the megathread easy to follow and everyone can just check the first post for all recent pics!!

I will continue to update this megathread with new pictures to make it easier for everyone to follow. I've spoken with Cenokibble to help me out with this already.

The perfect scenario is to have a separate thread introducing the new pics and then after a couple I days you merge it with the megathread. At this point I would update the first post. That would be a lot of work so I would recommend consistently updating the first post but change the thread title by adding ( new pic xxxx date ).

Thanks... Note that there's a limit to the number of images that you can post. So, you might want to have a mod put in a second post for you, or ask the person who has the second post to update once the first post has maxed out.

One thing that may help that I often see in 1st posts of threads like this---when colored/finished pics appear, the old grey prototype pics often remain---there's little reason to keep old pics when new ones are available. Clear them out to make room.

Sometimes the prototype pics help out with comparisons. So, if there's a way to have a first and second post, the protos can be moved over to the second post.

An unfinished digibash I was working on after I took my finals. Trying to figure out the basic color placements.

Thanks for all the input guys. I'll keep updating the original post until I can't anymore and then I'll ask a mod for help when we have to cross that bridge.

Of course, this one actually combines without having 50% of its mass set aside as a bunch of useless junk in all the other modes, so there's that...

Exactly. While it looks awesome and is an amazing piece of work---there's 1.5 bot's worth of combiner kibble: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/258754-predacons-x-group-shot.html

(plus Headstrong and Tantrum have massive amounts of kibble in bot mode--I think there's more kibble than bot)

As a Zoids fan, I'm even more impressed he made them transform. But no matter how cool it looks combined, it's not very "practical" in the other modes and not what I want in a Predacons team.

I don't know about other people, but my "combiner kibble limit" is about the same as G1--fists and feet, possibly head and chest shield. (Defensor is probably the best of them in that regard---built-in head, small chest shield easily stored in other modes) But "abs, waist, and thighs" is a bit much.

That custom is the most ambitious thing I've seen on this site.

I'm still undecided on the Predakings, and I think the best course of action is to wait on these new ones for a while. I would want to see more than one limb each and prices and make a combined form before I make a choice. Even though many people immediately hopped on the MMC Bandwagon, the Unique Toys Warhawk still looks pretty nice.

Honestly, I'm probably getting neither of them. This may be a rare sentiment, but I was just never super crazy for Predaking as a design or as a character. Granted, I really like the G1 toy as he's huge, chunky, die-cast, very playable and weighs like 30 pounds, not to mention the reissue has pretty gold paint.

However, going back and watching G1, the Predacons never struck me as a "must-have" combiner team like the Constructicons, Stunticons or Combaticons, at least, fiction and character-design wise. Maybe it's their Halloween candy corn color scheme, or maybe it's because they didn't do much in the show other than harass Sky-Lynx a couple times.

If the combined set was say, $250 to even maybe MT Giant's price of $350, I might be more willing to get that. Basically, what I'm saying is, I wouldn't mind having a classics Predaking, but personally I wouldn't drop 5 or 6 bills for one.

I sorta view this guys like the ToyWorld Throttlebots - they are really cool, but I don't need them. They rock, and I am glad they exist and that people will enjoy them, but they're not a top priority for me.
