finally razor claw i actually like him

 

Giant is eleven and a half inches tall, so one extra inch does not make Feral Rex out of scale, since Predaking was often portrayed as being the largest gestalt.

 

I'm not a huge Predaking fan, but ever since the first prototype reveals for Feral Rex, I've been all over this damn thing. It just looks incredible, and Razorclaw continues to impress me. I still need to finish Hercules sometime, and I'll eventually get around to all of the other combiners, but I am definitely prioritising Feral Rex (and the Fansproject Stunticons, for now). Even if I have to give up Encore Fortress Maximus for this bad boy, I will.

 

This surprises me because it has been consistent with every figure shown so far;

 

I like the chunky bot. The lion might need color to look less skiny legs.

That said, he actually carries the bulk of a very big torso all by itself and also has a robot form and an alt form that isn't a robot under a plane/kite.

 

Razorclaw should be sleek, not chunky. That thing completely fails to capture Razorclaw's personality. It reminds me of Energon Fatimus Prime.

 

Im actually digging this Razorclaw. It sort of looks like Feral Rex will have a wee skinny waistline when hes put together. Still, cant wait for it.

 

I'm not really liking this design, but if it floats your boat, more power to you.

I feel like I have a completely different perception of Razorclaw than you.

 

thats how i felt but then i remembered my g1 razorclaw and if mmcs doesnt have hands cming from where elbows are its a massive improvement.

 

Yeah, not crazy about the big shoulder pads, and the legs are a little chunky. How big are the limb bots supposed to be? 8 inches for Razorclaw makes him pretty sizeable...close to MP scale, and he has historically been in the same size class as the other predacons.

 

Not bad not digging the tail but tis a minor gripe. Hopefully he's big enough that the upcoming springer can ride him, and they can fight dragons and stuff.

 

I like the fact that Razorclaw looks more like a Lion here than the original G1 Toy.

And there's no appeasing the G1 purists because...Well, It's not Gee-Wun enough for them.  

If I were going to suggest one simple change it would be:

Please place the 2 back guns on the sides of his legs. They look just a little out of place where they are in that art.

 

It looks like LION people! WTF lol, aren't Lions at full grown supposed to be large? after all, there the King of the Jungle! This figure nails the mark and he certainly looks ferocious along with being massive as he should.

 

Not the biggest fan of the waistplate on the back in beast mode, but it's not a deal breaker for me. He does look a little hefty, but a) he's Predaking's torso and I can accept a slightly chunky Razorclaw for a well-proportioned Predaking and 2) the robot mode shot is angled and it may look slimmer from the front. Either way I am so hard right now that if this lasts four more hours I'm going to have to go see a doctor.

 

Lion mode looks great! Bot mode is hampered a bit by combined mode stuff, but I think the angle of the photo and pose are not helping things.

Regardless, I want a preorder!

 

Comments like this are rather disgusting, and very inappropriate. keep this off the boards. there is some minors on these boards. and some of us may or may not be their parents.

 

They better not make RazorClaw skinny/sleek or I'm bailing out of this project and cancelling my 2 existing pre-orders

 

Just realized the head is likely hiding inside the bot mode torso, which helps explain the size, for anyone it bothered.
