Given that it's going to be much taller than Giant, I'd say the starting price is likely to be $375.

I'm also a big fan of the UT offering but MMC's really did knock it out the park - if I get one, it'll be MMC unfortunately!

 

It's not gonna be 350$ imo. Just for the fact that it's going to be bigger in size. PK is always bigger than the other combiners but with MMC's fair pricing, we never know.

But you're right that it's far more likely to be $450 minimum, up to the $600 mark. Depends on MMC's pricing!

 

I am not a fan of talking prices in the 3P forums but I have to agree with you. Odds are that this combiner will not be $350. MMC's Predaking is going to have SIX figures so right there you have an extra cost.

These things look to be a good size, highly detailed (love Tantrum's heads), and they appear to be invovled in terms of engineering. Even at the great MMC prices I am seeing $75 a piece. So 6x$75= $450

That being said, MT released Green Giant at $350 so I would not be surprised if MMC's Ferocicons are that price or even less.

I will say this, if MMC beats the $350 price they will take my number 1 3P group spot and I will start dropping other purchases to support them fully and completely. The only way to get these prices down is to support the companies that offer the lower prices. I will say between MMC, FP, MT, MI and possibly FT, 3P prices are starting to become much more reasonable but there is always room for lower prices   PE, TFC and iGear really need to look at those other groups I mentioned and see what prices should look like.

$130 for MMC's Sixshot? Who would have ever guessed that??!!?? Bring on the Ferocicon prices and make them be just as spectacular.

There's always been six for the MMC version... But, the 6th bot is optional.

 

I would personally consider 450$ "dirt cheap", if its an MMC designed combiner that's the same height as Hercules. I mean, that's bombastic pricing to me, at that level of engineering and scale.

I would be in dreamland IF they come out to be priced LESS than the other 3P PK, along with their bigger size. Then I feel like 3P just "won" a battle in a sense of pricing.

I don't think I can realistically expect 350$ (but I can dream!), because that would be absolutely insane in a good way. A hercule sized combiner at the price of Giant size combiner.



In a slight "aside", I get a sense of 2 "types" of pricing in 3P world: The companies that cares for profits but cares about being fair as well, such as MMC, FP, MT. And Companies that cares for profits more and will try their best to "get the most" out of it, such as iGear, TFC,and CD.

I still like all of their designs (for the most part, cept for iGear's shit copies of official things), and I still preorder most of their stuff, regardless of their "motives" behind the pricing as long as it's not a complete rape to my wallet.
And I don't blame them for "maximizing" profit as from a Business standpoint that is only normal.

However, the 2 different types i guess, is what earns my utmost respect in the 3P world, versus "yeah I will get their product but they aren't my fav company" type of thing.

6?! I went back to the first post to get more details but only saw 5 silohuetttes. That additional information about the 6th bot should be added to the 1st post. Why is the 6th bot optional?

 

We don't know. The 6th memeber was never directly referred to as a figure so it may just be an upgrade set like THE RAGE OF HERCULES set. The again it can be a full figure, we really don't know.

What was said was that Ferocicon will be a full Predaking with just the 5 figures. That 6th thing is there is enhance the combined mode.

 

I'm actually ok with their being a 6th bot if it makes everything else more proportionate. Maybe they could add a wolf or a gorilla or something very "predaconish". I doubt it would be something that big I'm very curious to see what they come up with just the same.
