Yellow bird feet would just make him look like a chicken though... sure it might look better in bot-mode, but yeah... no chicken-feet please. I guess all black wouldn't be bad.

 

The black looks pretty good too, I like the grey because of the color variation in the legs.

The torso is upscaled about 20%. That would make Razorclaw about 20% taller than he currently is. We are not even sure he is the tallest of the team. I am all for a larger Razorclaw for an amazing combined Predaking. I am pretty sure the other predacons can put their size insecurites away so we don't end up with a 600usd masterpiece predaking with the proportions of a fall of cybertron bruticus. Crazydevy would love it though. Selling us parts to fix the proportions at rediculous prices...

 

  I guess it would. While the black looks okay too, it still makes the leg look like one big block of solid color--I think a bit more color would help break that up. You colored the talons on the forearm to help break up the colors up top, I think a bit more color on the bird feet or tarsus (yellow, gold or orange) would help the upper half of the body match the lower a bit more.

I don't know how much paint or colored plastic MMC is going to use on this guy, but at nearly $100 a figure, one would hope quite a bit. I just want to see more color on these figures--still your mock up is lookin' pretty good, sir

I thought they were all the same height--haven't we've seen silhouettes of these guys looking about the same height?

MMC continues to insist that all we've seen are prototypes that are far from finished, we should expect changes--we've seen quite a few in Not-Divebomb's digital mock up and the pictured prototype; he looks much more proportionate. I for one cannot wait to see a combined prototype, showing off the five man (and optional six man) team.

There may be little difference in what we've seen of the five man team, as MMC also continues to say that the sixth member will better balance the team, so I guess we should expect too much change, but some.

 

Let's go with red & call it a day.   He probably needed a bit more red anyway... did the shoulders too, to balance it out.

In all seriousness... I don't think we know exactly yet... only that the Unique Roys version is a nice "match" for Giant. What that even means exactly is a bit fuzzy.

I like it. I think the colors tend to mute some of the textrual details, which to some folks, may be a good thing.

Agree that it mutes some of the details that others don't like without completely washing them out, but it also makes the lighter colors pop much more

On another note, does anyone know what MMC will be using to connect the bots? Will it be similar to Giant? Cause that thing is sturdy. I really like how everything locks into place.

The one thing I'm afraid of with a towering combiner is the sturdiness.

No height was given but MMC said that it is taller than Herc. Herc is 12.5"-13" so this will be abuot 13.5" give or take a .5"

No official height can be given since Razorclaw's model isn't even finished. They're "filling it out" so he feels more substantial in chest mode. As I said before, Rex will be about an inch taller than Hurc, and if anything with the adjustments they're making, he'll get bigger. Once the protos are all done, I'm sure they'll whip out the ruler.

(just so nobody gets too exited, I only work with them sometimes as a freelancer I have absolutely no say in what they do, so don't get you're hopes up.)

 

Giant is 11" tall. Feral will be a lot taller at 13.5-14". It'd be cool if there was an option to shrink the height; maybe collapse the torso so that it becomes wider.

Thanks for the clarification, but I think your sentence reads better if you replace "official" with "actual." I think it's great for any company to officially share where they are currently at in the design and manufacturing process.

And in terms of your comment about the ruler, couldn't measurements be taken off the 3D model?

Seriously though, this thing is still being designed? Is anything in the mould stage yet? I'm not worried about you guys finishing but I didn't suspect that parts are still on the drawing board. Silver lining? We the fandom still have time to nit pick at things we don't like and get them changed. We know this is already happening because they heard us with the small bird head and informed us that they are looking in to it.
