I need to see clearer pictures. Robot modes look so so, alt mode look pretty pretty good.

If it comes out in FP/MT combiner size I'd still buy it, but I am really hoping for it to be Herc sized. Even though my prefered combiner size is the more familiar FP/MT scale, I'd LOVE to have a big, baddass, Predaking.

I dig these, but I love my g1 Predaking. I'd want to see some final product photos, but they don't look bad at all from these teases.

He was sold as a Predacon (or whatever the Japanese name for that group is) in Japan.

 

this thing looks great so far. i am worried about thhe hips fo teh torso figure supporting all that weigh tin combined mode. we need some'solid ratchets there (like much much much more solid than cyclops has). would love this thing to be herc sized. in my mind predaking is only a tiny bit bigger than the other combiners....who knows...he never had a fight with anyone besides sky lynx if i am remembering correctly so scale is hard to judge.

 

they look great. g1 predaking displays well with my chug collection so sticking with that.

 

If you want to go by cartoon scale he can be sized like Colossus or Giant.

The only US G1 shot I could find shows him and Devastator being roughly equal:

Unfortunately he only appeared in season 3. Notice the gigantic Broadside.

In TF:Headmasters the Gestalts are shown to be similar in height with some looking bulkier than others.

Yeah, that's the main issue I have with this. He looks disproportionate like a Powercore Combiner or FOC Bruticus and that is not a good look.

If you think this looks like a PCC, you really need to go look at some more of those.
This is a little leaner than the G1 version, but it looks nothing like the god-awful PCC guys. first off the "shoulders" don't stick out, the thighs aren't stupidly skinny, the arms and hands actually look useful, the legs look solid.
Sure, the center bot could be a little bigger, but I see nothing wrong with how it is.

Base on the experience of Hexatron, Predaking should take a whole year for development.

 

This is going to be one of those threads that get bumped now and then with "any news?", and then the following disappointment of everyone else, when there is none.

 

News... Where??? how big is he going to be? What are going to be the final colors?, Will he be 6 bot's or 7?, Why can't they just show the combined form so we all know what he's going to really look like and not some blasted photo shopped image? Drink.
