Okay. Okay,... I'm willing to say they're "big"...and should go with MP beautifully.

Those "Beasticons" may have to forfeit their name just on GP.
They can be WST beasticons, or beasticon juniors maybe.
But we know where the real beastin is happenin.

Yes, it sounds like it should be much bigger than any other combiner thus far. FP Menasor is 11.5" and yet the limbs are all roughly scout sized. TFC Herc's limbs are inbetween dlx and voyager and he's 12.5". Then this with voyagers and a LARGE ultra is basically the same as Herc....Transformation obviously makes a huge difference, but it makes you wonder where does most of that mass go. I hope there isn't any hidden kibble around.

i would think so myself, but maybe hes also wider, thats what gets me about some of the other combiners/combiner add ons, the hips are so narrow the calves of the gestalts run into eachother.

    He may be very bulky.
Height isnt everything some people are speculating that the FP menasor will be thin but tall.

I would love to see this change myself. I hope some one soon figures out how to do this. Fansproject's Menasor looks to be on the right track, but not quite perfect.

I don't know if it is safe to assume anything when it comes to the order of release for these guys. I mean pics of Bovis were the first to show up, but Talon was the first preorder listed. The first pic of Leo Dux has been shown, but with all of the "suggestions" on redesigns (bigger claws, head articualtion, etc.) and MMC's willingness to listen, maybe he ends up being the last one to get preorders listed. Hard to say at the moment.

I'd assume Headstrong after Leo, since it's basically just a remold of Bovis, whereas Rampage is all-new, or mostly-new. Of course, we've not seen Headstrong in a while (since the red renders AFAIK) so he could have undergone just as severe a change as Leo or Talon did.

If the optional sixth member is going to be last, I'd suspect Rampage will be shown before it, as they'll most likely share molds (with a few tweaks) too.

As someone said, it's going to be very bulky. And also remember that height measurements for the finished gestalt don't include wings/guns. It's gonna be an absolute monstaaar!

Only reason I'd guess rampage would be next is because we've already kind of seen Headstrong through Bovis, and it would be good to see a totally new mold.

concerning bot mode height compared to gestalt height, i have this to say:
has no one owned or looked at most combiners? most leg bots don't utilize the full bot height and are usually compacted such as g1 menasor's being the compacted car mode as opposed to fully transformed robot being the leg. same goes for predaking: it's fairly obvious when you look at the gestalt render that you are not plugging a fully transformed bot into the leg. it is much more compacted, hence shorter gestalt. also, torsos tend to follow the same line, less compact but still maybe not full bot height.....

also classics prime is a bad example of a voyager, he's on the small side. voyagers are usually a little bigger with the exception of the downsized dotm line. these predacons are gonna' outclass prime, which is even more of a reason for toyworld to release prime scaled with their megatron, but that's a whole other discussion.

Re: Feral Rex's size compared to other combiners, there's a thread here on the general subject. A fan made a rough collage with Rex next to some of the others based on official heights, which is in the thread, and you can see that Rex should be both taller than most of them and significantly bulkier. I think Hercules might edge him out, though, judging by pictures comparing Herc to Giant and Colossus, and Uranos should be even larger as he's already taller and slightly bulkier than Hercules.

Also, have we heard anything about where Rex's arm cannon comes from? I'm thinking that it might be included with not-Rampage (which should still be cheaper than Talon, as the cannon looks to have less mass than the wings), and that the sabertooth will have one too so you can optionally have a cannon on each arm.

MMC Facebook page states that Talon will be 7.25in. tall alone, so no matter what the combined height, we fans are going to be treated to some awesome & powerful Predacons!

That is a fan made collage, not officially released by MMC. So take it with a grain of salt.

    Ugh! That drives me nuts.
Giant was actually pretty good about this, TFC Herc and FP Bruticus weren't too hot in this regard.
But the leg bots here look huge, it seems unavoidable.

Ultras are more like big Voyagers... or somewhere in-between really. I always liked the potential of the Ultra size class... I felt it should be used for characters like Grimlock, Jetfire, and Prime/Megs too. Unfortunately they stopped making Ultras at almost the same time that Classics/Generations figures kicked in. I think the last ones were Onslaught, Silverbolt and (ugh) Powerglide.

Of course all of this is complicated by the fact that between lines, the size classes and price points bounce around quite a bit. Classics Optimus even today is a pretty dainty Voyager... while FOC Soundwave, Classics Inferno and even TFTM07 Optimus Prime are credible Voyagers. The biggest Voyager I can think of is Cybertron's Vector Prime, who I suspect was designed originally to be an Ultra (which would explain his electronic features).

So yeah... saying something is "voyager sized" gets tricky, because that size class has a pretty broad range. My general feeling is that they should be head-and-shoulders taller than a Deluxe... but then, Deluxes have been just as inconsistent.

He looks thin, actually. It wouldn't surprise me.

Presuming that you've been using Classics Prime as your "official" Optimus all this time. Even back in 2006, he was too small. I got so tired of Hasbro not doing a definitive Optimus that I just bought an iGear Faith Leader (who is just about perfect in terms of size, imho).

Why hasn't Hasbro locked these sizes down? What's the point of having sizes if no one really knows what they are or if you yourself aren't going to use them properly--why in the hell is FOC Soundwave larger than than all other figures? I know its for his gimmick, but for those who want a collection of figures in scale with one another got shafted with these video game figures a whole really.

I think its great that Hasbro's offering budget figures and various sizes, but perhaps a clearly defined rule needs to be introduces and followed. It would also be nice if 3PCs followed suit.

For Hasbro sizes = price point. Why lock something down if you can charge more for less?

It does seem reasonable to believe that the list of remaining preorders will go Leo>Headstrong>Rampage>6th member.

But like I said earlier, I don't think that we can just assume that it will be the case. I mean, Bovis was the first pic we saw, but MMC chose to push Talon into preorders first.

If MMC does end up tweaking Leo's design a little, like some of the fandom have been suggesting, I could see Headstrong leapfrogging it for the same reason you think he will follow Leo. Being that he seems to be a basic remold of Bovis.

Exactly why I think the only "sure thing" is that the sixth, optional predacon will be the last preorder listed.

Theoretically, if Leo is redesigned at all, I could see him falling into the slot right before the 6th member, and the limb-bots making it to release before him. Headstrong>Rampage>Leo>6th member, does seem like a possibility.

I would prefer to see pics of Rampage next as well. I am really curious to see his proportions in beast mode. Wonder if he will be chunky like Leo (and pretty much Talon and Bovis too), or will he be more streamlined? Can't wait to see!
