I know, but who does it come with....

 

Well, there's no other pics that I've seen with that gun with Razorclaw or any other member, except combined mode. Sorry for asking....

 

The gun is Feral Rexs arm cannon of doom.

The main part belongs to Leo

 

Yeah. Apart from being semi-hidden away on the Predaking teaser image, we hadn't seen any of the guns yet. We were just told they were going to come with them, but that was it.

But that cannon clearly has more stuff on it than the G1 version. The main cannon itself is highly reminiscent of Razorclaw's, but there's a bunch of other kibbly stuff on top, which are most likely the guns of the other guys, similar to how the big sword is a combination of all their melee weapons.

 

The Oppenheimer Sword is a combination of the melee weapons, and something else.

So, it makes sense for all the guns to combine.

It's a nice throw back to the G1 combiners where almost all of the smaller robot guns could combine to a larger gun....or just be stick together for the heck of it lol.

 

I love the MMC style compared to strict G1 style. TBH getting really tired of hearing that as of late between Menasor and this and other stuff coming out.

 

Uh... none of the original G1 Combiners did that. Bruticus' guns were retooled for the Baldigus/Ruination release to be able to, but otherwise, they were just loose kibble.

Can't speak for the Japanese-only guys like Landcross, Road Caesar, or Leokaiser off the top of my head. If they're out, the first time the Combiners were designed with all-inclusive functionality was Magnaboss and Tripredacus in Beast Wars.

Then I guess that makes him the first, then.

 

I really wish that arm cannon had a longer barrel to better reflect the Toon model. Meh, I guess I can live with it.  

 

Hmmn. I don't see Talon's guns in there. Maybe he has bigger "hand guns" we've not yet seen, and the wrist ones are semi-permanently-mounted blasters?

And yeah, a bit longer barrel would be nice.

 

The barrel is fine, everything with this project is fine.

 

Fine is good, but better is better.  

 

The barrel looks like it has the possibility of extending but don't quote me on that.

So, other than what ha already been said, do you guys like the arm cannon?

To me it's a nice rendition, it's not a 'bulky' as before.

And for purposes of the smaller attachment.......red dot laser sight for hunting!

 

Leo Dux's tail? I'm sure that must have been noticed by someone already?

Yeah, I think it looks really mean! The two guns resting on top remind me of the Assault Rifle from halo, which is very fine by me!

Would a bayonet attachment be too OTT?

Some blade attachments at the top fat end (official technical term) could turn it into a nasty battle-axe.

 

This gun looks awesome! I like the fact that the guns can also combine into a bigger weapon like the melee weapons.
