It's why I wonder about the future success of the TFC Ares combiner. The silhouettes at least suggest that they might not be beasts at all, but vehicles instead. I'm in no doubt it'll be a handsome team (and they'll probably do well regardless), but surely the whole point of the predacons is that they're beasts?

The silhoettes dont tell me much of anything. It could be Seacons, Terrorcons, or Preds. Regardless tho, they certainly don't look to resemble G1 at all.

 

only thing is though is you may want to wait and see what TFC does-so far, it looks like the same vein as their "dinobots" and "defensor" in that its not even close-Divebomb has a headress, Rampage has wings.

If they had changed any part of this team, introducing crocodiles, bears, wolves or whatever, I wouldn't be on board.

 

You've probably already seen this, which doesn't really clear much up! They could even be the dinobots for all we bloody know! But I think most sources point to Preds.

I would have loved it if they made the 6th member a honeybadger. He'd be the most badass of them all!

 

That makes perfect sense. I'm in the FP/MT camp so I'm focused on that scale and aesthetic. TFC is impressive in that they will have 3 combiners and seeing as you own two why not stick with the uniformed style. After all TFC will have 60% of the combiners that it is taking 3 companies to make and they still have abominus and defensor rumoured.

I have no clue what TFC's Predaking will look like but because you collect TFC combiners you are in a win win situation. It's just a costly win win Situation.

 

The optional sixth member could be whatever they wanted to make him, and I'd be cool with that, as long as he's optional!

I forget who, but someone here got confirmation from TFC Toys on Facebook (IIRC) that that image is of Predaking 

 

It was confirmed to be Predaking. - Venksta mentioned it way back, also ScaleFace asked if it was Predaking in TFC's chinese forum and it was answered to be it.

 

Looking at the sillouettes they almost look like they could be animated predacons.

 

Something like this or Prime styled Predaking woukd make me actually want to but it also. If its just another g1/classics update like their others then Ill probably pass as im all in on the MMC version.

 

The rumor was that Ares is the Cybertronian form of Predaking. Anyway, as for MMC, I'm still in... Look at my siggy..
