My reaction to that pic

1st thought "is that fake?"
2nd thought "Why the hell is he black?"
3rd thought "Oh duh, just prototype!"
4th thought "Is my second thought racist?"
5th thought "HOLY CRAP NEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWSSS!!!"

 

Not really digging this. I think mmc versions a bit over stylized.

 

It looks ok. Not particularly amazing but I don't have any immediate complaints.

 

Predaking will or make or break it for me so far I've enjoyed the solo bots but if the combined mode looks as iffy as the cgi proto types I wont bite

I would say the opposite. The lion paws look small but I can live with it.

 

Not sure about the lions waist, but I am really liking the bot mode on this guy, and I am glad that the shoulder cannons are not over-the-top huge too.

 

I like the original render a whole lot more than this.

 

Yea... it's kind of their aesthetic... a "love it or hate it" vibe is the result.

For their HoS figures... it was quite appropriate I thought. With these... yea, I know, same designers... but IDK... they could've toned the detail a bit. Same for Hexatron, who is otherwise a sweet looking figure.

 

So far we are 3.5 for 5 on this set. The updated Tantrum, Divebomb and Razorclaw all look fantastic. The coloured image of Divebomb was amazing. We haven't seen Headstrong yet but we know it uses the same body as Tantrum. Can't wait to see their Rampage update.

 

That looks awesome. Predaking is going to out Hercules Hercules (hopefully without the QC issues)

I can already image how this is going to look with Hexatron. MMC are on the right path so far, let us just hope that the finished product holds up.

 

i was gonna comment on whyis raz so stubby then i remembered ive been dealing with stubby razorclaw since g1 thais is not that bad.

 

Not liking this. I may end up canceling my preorders for Divebomb and Tantrum.

 

Can't see enough from just the render, but the only thing that sticks out is the buttflap. Can't wait to see more.

 

Seems to have gotten a little bulkier in the chest and less so in the arms and legs. 8 Inches is huge too... like 2/3 of the size of the merged bot. Not sure I like that, but I suspect that like Talon this will go through one more revision, maybe two. So, now I wait impatiently for the pre-orders to go live on the sites. I want these so bad.

I'm bummed that Leo Dux is coming in Q3 2013. That means the whole combiner may not come out until Q4 13 or even Q1 14. However I do like how these guys are looking so far and it means more time to save and less QC issues (hopefully).

Egh, don't like that Razorclaw. It desperately needs bigger/better limbs in both modes. As is it just looks all kinds of whack.

 

No I think Feral Rex makes Giant/Colossus look more like scouts lmao

This is more in scale with TFC in my opinion
