Not sure. It could be that the first batch is going to PSEx to distribute to help drive sales on their web storefront and hit local markets to build interest. Not sure how far behind the shipments to other retailers will be, but it would be cool if they managed to get those shipped out before CNY holidays. I'm sure TCP or TDojo could comment on whether/when they've gotten shipping notices from MMC/PSEx.

 

Well, that's unexpected.

If it drops at US retailers after next Thursday (when I get paid next), it's not bad budget-wise for me. It's only horrible timing for me if it drops before Thursday AND professional registration for SDCC (a friend of mine can get me in as a guest, but the complimentary guest passes are typically gone by the time she gets in so I still pay) hits before Thursday. I suppose it's not that likely, but it's possible and that would complicate things quite a bit.

I'll be curious if anyone preordered with BBTS gets those 5-10 day notices soon. Mine's through Toy Dojo so I assume they'll follow after them.

 

Either way, hope my tax return deposits soon.

Edit: Damn. Almost ordered from PSX but noticed their insane shipping amount for EMS as per usual. I ordered one small figure there once, and it didn't break the bank too much, but $55.00 USD to ship this guy is crazy. Maybe if it was in YEN (which would equal around 40 something .. Still too much for this size/weight), it would be easier to bite ...

Sadly, this is causing me to cancel a lot of buying with how bad it is. Probably end up canning mp ratchet and a couple others at this point until its better.

I've yet to see an announcement either, but on PSX's website the core bot is listed as shipping on 30 January. The combo listing on the site still lists it as a preorder for April though.

 

well here is the thing. I'm not in the shipping business, but if you want EMS shipping from PSX, you'll be paying a seemingly stupid over priced amount. I have never spent $50+ on EMS unless it was a HUGE box coming from AmiAmi.

And if you don't pay the stupid EMS price from PSX, you'll pay for standard which seems more ok (around 20.00+ something), but probably would get it around the same time it's on it's way to US retailers anyway.

Probably great for Easterns/Asia/Australia/New Zealand though.

 

I had this same dilemma with Nero Rex. 499 plus shipping plus duty. Looking close to $1000 CAD.

 

Or you could just email them to get a direct answer, like I did.... Waiting for an announcement, which may never come, sux!!!

I use cheap shipping all the time -> Hong Kong Post. It takes about 2 weeks (sometimes 1 - 1.5 week) to Toronto / Canada, unless there is an issue at customs, then it's like 3 - 4 weeks. I don't know about other Countries/Locations.

And as for US etailers, it is well possible they get their stock "on time" as originally expected, and this is only a small batch factory may have finished and sent to PSX before their CNY, and the actual big stock is still to come... You wanna take that chance? You will save if you do. I was not as strong (always I am afraid of Canadian dollar sucking more by then)... so I am paying that extra 16 USD shipping now, and can finally say "End, the MMC Collection has, BIOTCHES!!!". And thus ends my 3 years agony, except, no armor...

 

Here is the answer i got this morning:

Whatever that means. Personally i still don't have a shipping notice. We will see tomorrow i guess.

I emailed psx and they confirmed they got a small stock in just waiting to hear if they have any of the combo left I need the core and armor not just one or the other!

 

I just switched my preorder to planetsteelexpress, almost $30 more but I want all bonus items lol
