That's what I was going for with my previous pic. More or less Seraph should be around Hex's size, a little shorter due to lower sitting shoulders but much wider due to the wings. The base figure at this scale would be around voyager size.

    Thanks for the pic! ;)

I would have, but I'm not at the house. ;)

Awesome fid looks awesome, whoever he's not-supposed to be.

But am I the only person who thinks these leader-class third party figs are too big? Haven't been getting a lot of Leader class figures lately. These two would stand taller than most on my shelves. Seems weird to have not-sixshot and not-prima/nova so much taller than my not-fallen, who scales just fine with the rest of my generations/classics line.

Okay this is gonna bug me but PEOPLE! The armor does not add height to his legs, just above his shoulders due to the wings.

Do we want something short with huge wings above his heads looking absolutley silly?

It adds a little bit... They've (MMC) already factored that in. ;)

I always know to dig back for a griffith76 post when the page number shoots up in a short period of time :lol

I would definitely prefer Mp/Hex scale while armored. Right now my biggest issue with the MT version (aside from the kick stand) is his size. The tankers are tiny. So I think Seraph could serve a different role in my collection. However, I have a entire shelf dedicated to MMC stuff so no matter what I know where mine will end up. :)

From this picture, I prefer the smaller option. It would be nice if that could knock off a few dollars, but I also think it just looks and works better for me. I don't think of Nova Prime as enormous, he's just another truckformer.

I think he would still be considered a big figure if he was a little shorter than Hexatron. The small version there looks like a linebacker to MP-10's basketball player.

I will find a way to justify any size they choose though haha. Design...too...awesome

EDIT: Totally forgot there was a pack-in comic featuring them both (My Hex is still in transit), so yeah makes the most sense to go by how they are shown there.

Someone please post the scans of the comic from Hexatron. That way people would know how big Seraph would be. ;)

Looking at the photos it doesn't look like it does add leg or torso height, just girth and then wing height.

The first pic is a bit misleading... Check the second pic. You basically have to stand the base figure in the "boots" section of the armor.

Ah okay I see the extra boots now - even so it wouldn't add much height. Voyager is too small a scale, it needs to be between voyager and MP-10 unarmored.

This is basically how they'll look like...

With the armor on, Hexatron will still be taller than Seraph.

Yeeeeeah. The combined mode looks pretty good but the rest is kinda eh. It's not terrible but it's not quite the nova prime I want

Can't knock the effort and skill put into the design though!

With that size comparison I would peg Seraph at slightly bigger than say MP Lambor but the problem is that in armored up form is he as big as Hex in the comics? If so a frame that small wouldn't work because you'd end up with big chunky armor over a small frame.

So, here's a question: Does anyone care about the inner robot? I've read some of the comics now, but never really seen Nova Prime out of his impressive super-Optimus sorta mode with the wings. MMC could probably save money and make a more solid product if the 'inner robot' was just a mass of higher-strength joints and perfectly placed connection slots for the armor instead of needing to be a fully realized figure.

I can't speak for anyone else, but while I like transforming things, I almost always display in Robot mode so having a solid, handsome one of those is a significant priority to me.

I have to go back to the comic book, but I think Seraph was only shown in his basic bot mode.

I want this for a classics collection so MP scale and I'm out unfortunately.

This is an IDW character. Why scale it to a line with no IDW figures?

This is kind of why I don't mind liberties being taken with the inner 'bot design. Still, it's nice to have an inner 'bot and it's one of the characteristic features of the design as a whole.
