TFW Galleries of TFcon 2011 Stronghold and Toxin

Stronghold - Headrobots - TFW2005.COM

Toxin - Headrobots - TFW2005.COM

With TFcon's 2012 exclusive Shafter rising to the occasion when it comes to this year's exclusives, I figured now was a good time to give some focus to last year's exclusive duo of Stronghold and Toxin. Stronghold is a redeco of the great Hardhead upgrade set, this time for Universe Onslaught, and comes complete with Reprolabels to customize the Onslaught body into something new and altogether unique - a proto-Fortress Maximus version of Fortress / Cerebros. It's rather cool and the Ontario number plate decal adds a lot to the look.

Toxin meanwhile is a redeco of the first Headrobots release, Cobra, and is a nice little complement to the set - it also goes well on a Mindwipe body in my experience.

Click on the links above to check out the galleries of both!

I have both stronghold and the hardhead/hothead version and gotta say it's one of my favourite 3rd party kits! Stronghold is perfect but I may sell hardhead in favour of a deluxe scale fig since I'm not terribly keen on having 2 of the 5 autobot headmasters be the same mold.
Wants
BotCon Dreadwind. Botcon Rapido. classics Mirage.

Yea, as much as I like Hardhead, this recolor really looks great. I never bothered with the stickers, and have him on the D-Con shelf, but Head Robots really knocked it out of the park both on the original and the TFCon exclusive. I wouldn't sell my Hardhead though if I were you, Headrobots did a great job turning that figure into something special. I have both Hardhead versions, and when I bust them out, I am still impressed with how awesome they are.

I am almost surprised that the TFCon version can be fairly easily had on ebay still. I just need to "man up" and track down the Japanese version of Onslaught to give a little variation between the Butcher, Stronghold, and Onslaught.
Wants: Botcon Grimlock, Dreadwing, Animated EG Prowl, Henkei BB, Smokescreen, Mirage, Sunstreaker

Sales

*Ontario number plate. License plates are by province (sorry to be a stickler)

Own 'em both and they're all way cool. Still need to make room to display my various Onslaught molds tho (original, Fortress upgrade, & Hardhead w/ upgrade)

I have one but I don't want it...

It never really impressed me that much. I guess it's because of the base bot they used.

Cliffjumper: Say it again. Combined mode name is?
Combiner dudes: Menas... I mean Intimidator...
Autobots: Bwahahaha!
