New 3rd-party deluxe G1 Bumblebee, unlicensed with permission??

If this were a kit, I might buy it. I don't know about for $90.00, though.

If they're selling that as a stand alone KO figure however, it seems like lazy work to me.

Honestly, I love the work that the Radicons have done, and they look fantastic, but I'm digging this one more as a streamlined/retail version.

This is literally the first classics bumblebee we've gotten that does not look "fat". He finally has a chest/canopy that isn't more wide than his hips in bot mode. Also, the face has been tweaked to look more clean.

Overall, this bot mode looks like something I'd spend 90 bucks for.

Edit: The thing that actually DOES bug me is the alt. mode. It's "perfect" in a sense of how it's done, but the older VW rubs me as very "dated" for a classics toy.

Not worth 90$. Especially when better designs and tutorials are available.

I'll take it for 10$ shipped.

I kind of like this, and it would definitely be nice to have a Bumblebee that had a little less in common with the other Bumblebee molds that will soon be converted via Renderform kits... however, that $90 price tag is just too much for me. I'd be a lot more tempted if it was in the sub-$50 range. Unless this drops in price, I'll be content with what I have now, or maybe I can gather the courage to attempt my own reshell...

I like it...but I dunno if I $90 like it. And, I kinda agree TJ...it would fit in better w/ classics if it were the updated Beetle. Although, this does scratch that geewun itch something fierce.

What on earth makes this kit worth $90 dollars? Somebody should definitely consider doing a re-shell kit. And if it were the right price I'd be willing to by one for BB and Goldbug as well as a re-shell kit Porshe for Cliff.
