I hope I'm the first to post this.

X-Transbots have revealed some news and sketches for their third party figure Mega Fōtoresu Makishimasu. Which, if you didn't read between the letters is likely a homage to the G1 Fortress Maximus. They have posted the following comments about this figure:
"Our designer currently is working for a new redesign of Mega Fōtoresu Makishimasu that mostly G1 homage! He has multiple alt mode configurations, transforming into a relatively compact "city" mode, "battle station"….He has another "?" individual robots that can combine and transform from his starship mode to his robot mode! We have also redesign for his rival ~ The Evil MegaSukoruponokku! Stay tuned for more information

So, they're tacking two more big, bulky bots after Powermaster Optimus Prime, who despite being another big bulkly chunk of chunk in his original design, they him slimmed down, and gave him frail looking legs (especially around the ankle).

I can only wonder how horribly distorted these things will end up being.
