Due to Hercules' problems, I'll probably wait until all are out or after hearing positive news about this project's quality control matters, surely TFC Toys has learned a thing or two this time around, but I'm going to side on the side of caution anyway just in case this time around.

If I were buying them as they're released, I'd hope for Air Raid too, as he was my first and only Arialbot:lol  But if they look as AWESOME as the digibashes up, I really wouldn't care who came out first. These first too look AMAZING in the colors they are done up in (every single color scheme).

Smaller details like those you've used as examples would be pretty cool, but bigger details would be a huge no.

Though honestly, that sounds like something reprolabels would handle to me.

Wonder if they'll show all 5 first or if we'll see preorders for these two in a few months with nothing else to go on... Again.

Some of the small warning signs and what not would be excellent, although I really don't expect them. I think we can take it as read that they'll be serial numbers or designations or whatever they're called like F1R3-FLT and A1R-R41D

I love the photoshopped images..... Really looking forward to these starting to come out..... The Aerialbots were some off my favorite combiner bots back in the day when I was a kid. =)

Warning signs and the like on the planes would be cool, but I don't see TFC Toys doing that--that would be a B!+<# applying all of those markings up and down every fighter. How small would the writing be?!

Personally, I would love to see TFC release Air Raid and Fireflight in a 2-pack a la Maketoys Giant at about the same pricepoint, or no more than $140-150. Then release Silverbolt separate at approx. $100, then Slingshot and Skydive in their own 2-pack.

With Herc, I was afraid of missing the boat and having parts sell out like early FansProject product. But it's proved to be readily available so I don't much care if that happens again. I will probably be waiting for completion this round, get to see the finished product before I've financially committed, let others be the guinea pigs for any design mishaps, and most likely get a discounted price to boot.

I would actually pass on Hercules and get the Superion one first.

Chances are Hercules will be easier to find on the secondary market later.

I would personally hate warning stencils like that. Mainly---it's always grossly overscaled and far too obvious, and often wrong. I frankly don't trust *any* company to get them right, short of the top couple of "military jet model custom decal companies". Way too many USAF F-15's with F-14-only NAVY markings on them... Also----real markings on uber-fake colorschemes? (and we're all going to put big Autobot logos on too--no point in trying to "disguise" it at that point)

Here's a real F-15 in *pristine* shape---it's one of the Air Force's demo planes. How obvious are the markings? I counted at least 48 (because I know where to look) and that doesn't include the obvious insignia itself.

PS---I personally find the "l33t speak" serial numbers on Classics lame. BR4WL etc. And again--it wouldn't be like a real one, there's specific patterns/groups of numbers used. Adding fake details to make it "look more real" is an oxymoron.

As for dry-rub transfers etc---not in scale for these two. 1/72 would be the closest, but would be even more oversized than normal. Slingshot may end up being 1/72 though, possibly Skydive as well. (they are simply inherently smaller planes---they need to be made to a different scale to be the same size as the other 2)

Sorry if already answered but 122-page thread. Do we know the size of this guys? Will the Superion fit in size with the Fansproject Devastator?

I believe you meant MAKETOYS Devastator. Superion would be taller. Which is probably better than having the smaller FP Superion anyway.

By all accounts the jets are MP seeker sized so it'll go with their own (TFC) Devastator, no reason to think it'll scale with another companies effort.

If you go buy what we saw of the starq bots and our insider who has seen the first two in person.... Super-ion will be Hercules size.

Damn that makes for a big Silverbolt, can not wait for his reveal.
