Seeing the combined mode is making it kind of easy to pass on this project. I am a little underwhelmed here.

 

Yep, I feel like that too, not getting the lack of love for the little 6th guy. At least it is a different mold.

 

i cant be critical of this thing. it is fully too awesome to me.

 

Not feeling it with the V-chest, it just stands out too much for my taste. Something slimmer/thinner for the chest, and maybe make the 6th guy turn into a gun or extra boosters, but not liking him as the chest piece

 

I think this thing looks awesome and I cant wait. Im going to try to get 2 sets because I really like the individual bots. For Devastator I had TFC as my combined form and eventually was able to pick up green giant for my constructicons. For not-superion like the look of the individual bots really appeal my personal taste.

Superion's chest section ruined it for me...and everything was looking sooo good.

 

I really, REALLY like this - but something about it doesn't scream "Superion" to me like Hercules did with Devastator.

I'll probably change my mind when we see it "full color".

 

This is total bullshit! I am really thinking that most of you are trying to find something to discourage yourselves from buying it! Its fucked because this is being criticized too heavy IMO.

What about FANSPROJECT's retooling of the Insecticons? I thought that was unacceptable and they should've made completely different new Deluxe Insecticons.

I'm sure that most members think its sacrilegious to ever harshly criticize FB. I say if you approved of what FB has done to the retooling Insecticons, than lay off TFC because they actually made more of a divergence from the original two design offerings completely

the aerial bots usually looked almost indistinguishable at times in the Cartoon, except for SkyDive my favorite

 

i agree people seem very critical of this awesome combiner, i guess they were the same about herc. i guess im just easy to please... i love them both and i hope they have another combiner lined up next. id love a tfc bruticus if they will be the only 3P to make a full 5 bot bruticus. they could do it in Herc/Uranos scale. FP has menasor covered in a smaler scale. perfect!

but i disagree with you about the deluxe insecticons.

this 2nd version of the insecticons actually look superior to the first because they better match the G1 bots they are trying to portray. thats why i couldnt pass them up. I think it would be perfect if hastak made MP insecticons. id sell my FP V1 insecticons and then keep the new versions as the G1 deluxe models.

 

It looks okay, but something seems really off. Devy was perfect "This is Devestator", but this doesn't feel like Superion (and the combined mode head seems...odd)

 

I think my energon toy is better, i dont like the chest or the head lol.

 

Skydive might actually be my new favourite of this set.


Agree with most about the chest shield. That shit needs to go. Everything else looks good, pending colours of course, but that chest shield is a steaming pile that ruins the gestalt mode.


Release Silverbolt without it please. I'd rather have to buy a static chest shield separately.

 

I for one love it. Bought phantom, and will definitely be buying the rest to complete it.

 

LOL at the majority of recent indifferent or nit-picking replies. Speaks volumes about how far 3rd parties have come in the last few years and what is expected of them.

Doesn't fit my perfect minds-eye of Superion, but I'm ok with the compromises they chose. TFC owns combiners as far as I'm concerned.

 

Well, the amount of critics is directly proportional to the price charged, fair game, pure math =P Decrease the price and the law of physics will guarantee that everyone will adore that beauty XD

 

Man...he looks AWESOME with the up scaling!!...it REALLY shows how off the proportions are...like really really off...yikes!...the upscale makes his arms and legs look so much more right, ya know?...

Anyway, nice job on the digis...now do the colored one  

 

He looks great. I'm not stoked on the chest shield..but making a custom g1-ish chest shield will be no problem.

 

Gah, looking at the pics again Skydive is the worst in alt mode. That is NOT an F-16.

 

Now that they've shown Not-Sky Dive and Not-Slingshot I can honestly say... Meh. Not a fan. Way too big and not nearly G1 enough for the cost.

Sky Dive was the decider for me as one of my favorite characters, but there's nothing really there IMO that captures him more than a generic jet. That the Slingshot and Gestalt pics look kinda lousy is just nail in the coffin.

Happy to be able to pass on this due to not liking it rather than cost alone.


-ZacWilliam, wonders if seeing Skydive in G1 colors might help it a little..., is wrong to hope not? I'm rather happy not to want him.
