not sure i think the orientation of the plugs changes from combiner to jetmode and and the chest plate is in the up position unless you leave it down. short answer is im not sure i will have to check and see.

 

I'm only passing on this at retail price. If someone wanted to offload them for less money I would seriously consider it. Mostly, I was just messing with the poster above me, though.  

 

I think this sort of solves the short core issue with the big guy 

However, if you could widen his waist somehow, giving him a defined waist, you'll have greatly improve Blackbird's combined mode issues,imho!

 

The core wasn't that short to begin with, IMO, but the gaps that Phantom Ray left behind gave us that perception.

 

I think Transformed was thinking more along the lines of Megatron coming up with a bigger 'skirt' as the red one is a little skinny since it's BB's skirt as well as Uranos'.

 

Megatron31, that chest shield looks great! How do i get put on a wait list for when they become available?
With that new chest, only complaint for superion is his very long legs. We dont need to bring up the whole "g1 superion had long legs" or "these are robots they dont have the same proportions as us" arguements, they still look a bit off to me. Maybe if there was a new waistpiece that could lower his crotch, it would both visually lengthen his torso as well as shorten his legs a bit

Hmm, I'm in disagreement on this one. The main gripe people had with Herc and Uranos was the long legs, but more specifically the long calves. Some customizers have made thigh extenders to restore the balance a little. Lowering the crotch would further shorten his thigh and make the problem worse than better, IMO.

 

How tall in inches is this guy when combined?

 

I would say about 13 inches. I have a ruler so he is about an inch taller

 

Blast all of you! You've tempted me to form Uranos just to get an idea what he's going to look like.

After combining him, all that came to mind was: Great Sparks of the Core! He's friggin H U G E (13.5 in. from foot to tip of head, not counting antennae)! Even with his upper leg bent slightly, he towers over FP Bruticus with little effort. Admitedly, the juncture points for the arm and leg is uber-tight !!! I am not sure if it due to lack of combining or just designed this way?

A slightly disappointing revelation: he has 0 wrist articulation. The fists can be spun around, but there is absolutely no wrist adjusting itself. This kinda leaves options for posing this fig with his gun to an intensely limited number. Other than this, he looks incredible!!! I am eagerly awaiting for the other two  

 

Is Eagle supposed to be the right or left leg on Uranos? I always thought it was on the left, but he's on the right according to the latest pic from TFC....

 

Once you get the other 2 jets, you can simply stick him on the left
