I don't know how you see it, but it looksto me like everyone that ordered one is going to be getting one. Sure there were errors made, and I am not excusing them in the least bit, but it still seems like the first 200-300 preorders got them a helluva lot quicker than the last 200-300 will. At least that's the way I see it. So I am gonna be damned sure I try to be one of those first 300 or so orders.

Like I said, it's the lesson I learned. I'm not saying that everyone should follow suit. If this experience has turned anyone off to the whole process, they should by all means speak with their wallets next time. I know I would if I felt that way.

This is not a first attempt at anything.

FPC is Ages 3 And Up last I checked; they should know how to handle shipping items out to customers.

But let's say it is their "first attempt": is that really an excuse to not answer emails about missing product? Absolutely not. I don't blame these fans for being pissed, because they just flushed $80 down the drain and have no way to get it back if FPC won't answer emails.

The lesson learned should be that we as a community aren't going to take this bullshit customer service (or lack thereof), not "let's reward them by throwing money at them as first as we can for the next figure."

I never cease to be amazed at what Transformers fans will put up with for figures. We have a company pretty much screwing over fellow fans and other fans can't wait to give this company more money. Then again, FunPub is still in business so I don't know why I'm so surprised.

First of all, did you even read my entire first post...

    ???

Second of all, read my post right above your's, in response to cylor.

I am only saying that this is what I am going to do. One person. I am not going to try to rally the troops to offset those who are not going to be doing business with FPC again. I agree with anyone, who has felt like they have been wronged in this process, if they wil not be using FPC's services again. I would be doing the same if I felt I had been wronged.

Getting your pre-order in as early as possible won't really help. I'm one of those who have suffered 2 issues, mis-addressed mail and got shortpacked 1 Steelcore AND......... i was order #17. Paid within the first 30minutes.

So i think the issues is totally luck of the draw.

As i said, X # of orders you're bound to have Y # of issues, not counting issues with mail companies and customs. There will always be errors and that's ok. We as consumers can understand that. The question is, how does one recover from such errors.

Oh yeah, completely agree that errors are bound to occur being there still is the human element involved.

My statement about wanting to get my future preorders in asap was more about getting your shipment processed quicker. While it didn't hold to form exactly, I still stand by my statement that I bet the first 200-300 preorders still got processed a lot sooner than the last 300 or so.

What gets me with people in here is they keep saying that FPC is the same as Ages 3 and Up and they should be able to handle this. Sure. What I don't get is that you peple seem to be forgetting if they are associated with the other online company that means they are splitting resources.

By that statement, for those who don't understand, it means what normally they would have say 2 people doing they now have one. They still have A3U to run and I will guarantee that nobody in this forum (with exception of those who are on the boards that also run their own online toy company) can shipp out 800 units in a week or 2 by themselves. In 4 weeks it sounds as if most all orders have been received. Saying they did drops everyday but Sunday, you're talking about packaging and double checking around 32 orders per day. That's alot.

that number drops slightly seeing as how people ordered sometimes 2 or 3 and even 2-3 times, but it still is around that number. I will bet any ordinary member on these forums to do the same. Get your box, throw in your SC, pack him so he's not damaged, seal the box tight, print out an address label, and throw say 25 more in your car, truck or van, to take to the post office across the border, and then do it all over again tomorrow. oh and you have to take care of any orders that come through A3U at the same time.

Also FPC said all orders were to start shipping on July 31st. They did that. Now show me where they said your order would be received by a specific date. no one can cause no one was told. Now for those who are paying extra on customs charges, i feel for you. im not familiar with that being in the states and dont know how that works and it sucks that you are having to basically pay ebay prices for something that was 69.99.

Everyone else be patient. if you havent received yours yet you will. You may not know where your SC is but guarantee they do. quit emailing them senselessly everyday asking where it is. they will not answer you. Why? because they did it in mass. they said you will get what you paid for. so for those that are whining just stop. its pointless to sit and rant over the same thing every day. It's falling on deaf ears. If I'm tired of reading it, imagine how they see it.

I understand that errors occur, and fortunately nothing happened to me, but how hard is it to check the packing slip to verify that you have the right number of items or that the address isn't complete? Maybe they should limit the item to only 1 per person so that it minimizes their "errors".

Someone earlier mentioned that we as a "community" should do something. I don't think everyone is not going to buy one when the next item comes up for sale. And it doesn't seem like sending a bunch of spam mail asking about our orders will work either...they can just be ignored. What is the real solution? Will FP listen to us and work through another company? They don't seem to answer their emails either.

Does anybody else get the feeling that FPC sold a hell of a lot more than 800 Steel Cores?

I mean we would never know for sure but if that was the case (this is pure speculation by the way) then imagine they if they actually sold in the region of 1000 plus units.

Could that be the reason why there has been so many errors made in packing and why there are people like me who still don't have any idea when their SC will arrive?

I simply find it difficult to believe that there can be so many screw ups made over 800 units even though it's thier first attempt.

I think it is possible. Maybe the software wasn't able to keep track of the actual numbers of item sold. So they've sold way more than 800 units and asked the factory for another batch, and that's the reason why some orders were shipped so late.
    Pure speculation, anyway :D

It's simple, if you don't have the manpower to ship out 800 figures within a month, or to answer simple emails, or to provide shipping info, or ship the right amount of figures to the right addresses, maybe you should offer LESS than 800 figures.
"they aren't enough people" isn't an excuse. "We offered too many pieces, sorry about that" is an explanation.

I get that e-mailing them every day is excessive but perhaps some people feel it's the only way to get a response from them? What about people who are e-mailing because they received a lower number Steel Cores in their order than they paid for, should they stop bothering to contact FPC because it's falling on deaf ears too? I willing to be patient for anything, things like this aren't going to arrive to everyones front door in a day and yes as I said in a previous post some of the blame rests with the postal service that FPC used but it's nearly September, at what point should people get concerned and e-mail them? If orders still haven't arrived and received the correct number by October should people still not bother FPC?

I was really lucky to get mine through an amazing friend on here. Daelite for the win!!!!
To those still waiting, it is a great toy. I hate waiting for a package as much as anyone, but try to be patient. FP delivers on everything they set out to do.
I have actually been wondering if they meant to impose a limit of 1 but somehow didn't set up the order system properly. Just a thought. I missed the entire order process.

Not at all. They even had in-detail shipping standards and the like for ordering multiples on their order page.
