Are you already out of the Paypal 45 days window? You could have filed a claim for a partial refund, as they have marked a blatantly wrong value.
If not, I think you should try contacting them, and if you get no answer, writing a post in their forum and elsewhere. They're wrong, if they didn't refund you, they at least deserve bad publicity.

 

Unfortunately I wouldn't hold my breath on a reply from them, over the last couple of weeks I have sent them 3 messages similar to yours, 2 through their contact us page and 1 to the e-mail address on Steel Cores announcement and order page and I haven't received a reply to any of my messages.

Do Fansproject have their own forum? I briefly looked on FPC's website but I didn't see a link to it?

 

For the record, I think everyone should assume that all orders for Steelcore have now shipped. I received mine two days ago (my order number was 755) all the way over here in New Zealand, but my order status is still "Pending", and apparently, many other people have had the same thing happen.

I suggest patience is in order. It's their first time doing this, so I say give them some slack. In the future, I won't be so lenient (nor patient - I'm generally a very impatient person), but it can't hurt for the first time. I'm sick of seeing people getting so hyped up because their orders still haven't arrived. Fansproject DON'T control the postal service.

Also, Steelcore is fantastic. Just putting it out there. Oh, and don't try to rotate the fists. they're not meant to move. One of mine is loose though, and it moved a little, making me think they could rotate. Luckily, I realised they weren't mean to in time, so I didn't end up snapping the fist off.

 

after sending the e-mail to fansproject i got a letter from parcelforce charging me 22 pound to release the damn thing...............

I think there are two problems: 1) most of the TF sites members who bought Steelcore are from the US /Canada (due to the insane international shipping prices) and some of them started getting their figures before of the release date. Therefore, people complaining about the delays get balanced by the appraisal of the ones who got their figures earlier. 2) The Fansproject fanlove gets in the way of the hate towards Fansprojectcore, but I think these disservices will lead to the attitude most people have towards igear (i.e. "I love their toys but their shop is crap").
With the difference that you CAN choose to buy igear products elsewhere.

 

So

Fansproject Steelcore = WIN

Fansprojectcore = FAIL

Can we move on to Assaulter now? That boy is going to blow people away and I would liek to think that FPC learned a lot from this Steelcore fiasco.

 

Except the fiasco isn't over yet... There are still quite a number of folks who haven't received their (entire) order.

 

I can move on whenever I get a response, my order completed, or a refund on the remaining order. I have over $140 out on figures I never recieved without any indication that I will be getting them.

 

I dunno - Seibertron have stopped front paging 3rd party full stop. Every other community has something to say about it - but it isn't being made a huge deal of.

Yeah I'm out of the Paypal window. I have emailed them, if I get no response within a reasonable time I'll get mouthy. In an eloquent and amusing manner.

 

Why would we move to Assaulter in the Steel Core thread? Why wouldn't we just begin bumping and posting news in the appropriate thread as it comes?

Also, as stated above, people still haven't gotten their stuff. It's not hard to imagine being in a situation to where you've paid your money for stuff, haven't gotten it a month after it was said to have shipped, and not get a response from the sellers/distributors... that wouldn't be a good feeling.

Love me some Fansproject, but this Fansproject Core first run of a figure hasn't been handled well.

I like the potential for savings ordered directly through a distributor like this, people wouldn't be having this problem if it was being sold through major e-tailers like BBTS or TFSource.

 

Thinking about it, FPC is just another middle man like BBTS or TFsource, it's just that got to sell the entire first run themselves and that it's their only product. If other stores were to sell it, it would be the same price. We got confused because we thought we were buying it straight from FP at first. Which is not the case.

I'd like we to move on to Assaulter, as I'd like to buy him more than I'm interested in Steelcore. However, as a European fan, to think that for every FP release I'll have to deal with Fansprojectore or to wait months for a release at other retailers, is such a drag  

 

All they needed to do was give us tracking and we'd be in the loop.
For the price that overseas customers are paying it's the bare minimum they could provide. It's also delivered Priority Mail by the way. Mine was posted on the 3rd and in the UK on the 9th.

 

Fair enough, there are a handful of people going through the final hump of receiving their SC and trying to get errors corrected. My heart does go out to them. As the thread in the TF Toy Section is titled "Waiting for a Package Sucks" Even worst is that they have cut off all communication to concerned customers. There is ZERO excuse for that. I had fast replies from RK and those guys are working through a language barrier. FPC is in Canada and in Canada we speak english so the language is not an issue.

This is just a sign of a LAZY company. This is not disorganization, well it is, but that can be fixed. The no reply issue is BIG. That is a tell tale sign of them just ignoring the customer base.

I really hope they improve this and bring the FPC standards up to the FP standards. It is a high bar but to be able to sell FP exclusives you need to be up to snuff. We don't sell Ferarri's at a Pinto dealership.

As for Assaulter, I know it will get its own thread. I just want that figure to show up and polish up the FP name hat FPC has tarnished up. (You took my comment to literally)
