The only US retailer is CapturedPrey. Robotkingdom is carrying him as well.

I bought mine off chimungmung.com who has so far been really good. Any problems ive have they have tried to sort. They have replied to every email and tried to put any problems right.

 

There's no way that's the reason, unless there's some kind of official source for that.

BBTS carries other things that bear way more resemblance to actual HasTak products than Hegemon does, and TFSource isn't carrying it either and they even sell iGear's knockoff Seekers.

Toyworld probably just isn't selling to North American retailers. EDIT: Oh, just read Captured Prey has them. Regardless, that seems farfetched.

 

Actually, it's pretty well-known that these guys (BBTS & TFSource) are a couple of the "big guns" that have deals with Hasbro to sell their product(s). Not sure where to find the source for it, but not long ago it was mentioned that was one of the reasons for them not carrying certain 3rd party products (IGear stuff, for instance) because they were basically direct rips from Hasbro/Takara/Tomy. If you notice, and correct me if I'm wrong, TFSource doesn't sell IGear seekers......at least not on their site. They did have some on their ebay page still, from what I read not long ago.

From what I've read/heard, they were asked to stop carrying certain products......if they didn't comply, they would lose the option to carry any Hasbro product.

Now this comes from a few different threads & sources, so not sure what is actual fact, but just passing along that it's what a good chunk of us have heard or been hearing lately.

TFsource does have iGear seekers on their site.

Never mind, just read previous page lol.Thats crazy,i only buy from ebay or bbts so looks like a pass 4 me.Besides knowing my luck if i did buy him takara would probaly announce mp14 as a scaled down megatron lol

 

Don't let that keep you from getting a really awesome toy. Captured Prey takes PayPal so you would have the same protection as if you bought from an eBay seller. And eBay isn't all that great. Even if a seller isn't a scalper they still have to jack the prices up to cover ebay's fees. A lot of eBay sellers have their own online stores with the same items for less.

I just cant help but wonder if $99 is a bit to much for a classics size tf? Granted i know igears ironhide and rathet are $120 but still.Mp sideswipe is a official product and is $80 bux.Igear braun is 30 bux and just a tad bit smaller.He looks great though.Good advice btw Composite Ghost on optional paypal payments btw
