At least your being level headed with it. Most people do the "Its not ____ scale so it sucks!". An MP megatron will happen for sure but I want this guy to go on my classics shelf, also since it seems they will be continuing to do IDW type designs then I'm pretty much in for Optimus.

It's easy when you lead with teaser photos of a complete toy. These third-party companies tread a fine line where they have to generate a substantial buzz in order to justify dropping the initial investment, but too much lead-up makes them look like they're incompetent. People forget that large companies like Hasbro take just as long to design and release a toy as, say iGear, but they don't officially solicit the product for like a year..

 

Isn't Toyworld's next project an Optimus Prime? He'll likely be in scale with this.

Hegemon looks great. I only wish his legs looked as good as he does up top. I don't know what I'm going to do about this guy. I will wait for reviews and probably see what happens with the other G1 Megatrons before making my move, but this is a fine looking character.

 

Weird, I don't see the fugly stalk accesory anywhere in the package. Could they have decided not to include it? Or is it somehow stored in the plastic tray in such a way that it is not visible? I was going to throw it away anyway so 'meh'.

Hope that barrel plug is 'removable'. It distracts a bit

I'd rather they kept the paint ap cost down and release this at a reasonable price. Plus reprolabels will spruce this guy up pretty good.
