All modes are great, the weapons are versatile, and fists aside, his combiner pieces are all concealed within the bots themselves. Got A LOT of display options with them in bot mode. Check some pictures I posted a while back for examples. Apparently some places are offering all six bots for less than the cost of having gotten all six one by one... Seen on eBay for 450-550... CapturedPrey has it for 515 atm. So you won't be paying that much more for Herc. I'd only see Giant as worthwhile for an Energon-scaled Gestalt display. He does go well with FP Bruticus, that's for sure. Personally don't like all the gaps the bot modes show. ![]() CodeXCDM's Feeback Thread | Horatio Devastator!!! | Best/Amusing Forum Sigs ***SALE: CHUG, GDO, Arms Micron, PCC, and More! I emailed them about cancelling and getting a refund. They said I can. Trust me, it took alot to spend that much on 1 TF at once. I want Herc, but the more I look at Giant, the more I want him insted. Yes the size of Herc is cool, I was going to put him with my G1 Revoltechs and see what they looked like all together. Its just something about Giant that looks cool. Im also leaning towards him with my FP Brute. I have been sitting here for a week now trying to decide what to do. If I didnt have kids, cars, and a house to worry about Id be getting both. But I jsut cant justify buying 2 Devys right now. Anyway youre not nuts, everyone has their own preference. |

With that said, I really, really hate making a decision like this. Which 1, which 1???????????????????????????????????????????????? If I do go with the green Giant, I hope that these QC issued are all figured out.

Until today, I woulda said QC wise Giant is more of a slam dunk, but set B has some issues, and the way the torso connects is kinda meh. Giants forearms are also stubby on combined mode... they're too short for my tastes. Hercules is a gamble because of the QC issues... mine had none save the Long Haul bad crotch. But without the crotch issues... He's a big bad ass bruiser, who has the option of looking like and updated Devy, or a G1 Devs with the new rage kit. He is a more expensive option, but for a collectable item that you might only get one chance at, I'd say pick Hercules. He doesn't have playability issues like a lack of wheels or lack of movement on booms or cranes. Yes he's "out of scale" with Bruticus, but I've always thought that was dumb reasoning... shouldn't a combiner made out of 6 construction vehicles be bigger than one made of 5 vehicles? Ideally get both if you can, because as I said before these are one time items. Overall, unless the style is a HUGE turnoff, Herc's bots are more solid and playable, and you have more options on how the combined form looks. Giant looks like he's missing something without the chest wing.... Hercules was designed not to have it. Giant is stuck G1 (not that that's bad), Herc has the option for a G1 look or updated look. Lastly with set B's issues for Giant, he's no longer a toy without serious QC/design issues. ![]()
