Oh, definitely more PCC stuff, but I mean this approach to chaos/paladin and the launchers: Where you essentially get transformer legos and can go nuts with various modes. Maketoy's website is filled with insane designs for those, like wings made out of guns, a 4 armed robots, a robot with legs out of the shoulders and miniguns coming out the hips.

And all this is essentially using one set. Imagine if Maketoys made more, or other 3rd party companied followed the designs of making vehicules that are just pile of PCC-compatible blocks.

Im already planing to get both Chaos/Paladin and the Marine or Jungle Launcher, just to see what can be done with 2 sets of parts.

 

As soon as I get him in hand I'll see if getting the other sets. Fallen Maximus anyone?

 

Yep what has me most excited about MT's mobine sets is they could easily produce them in multiple decos with different guns etc and other companies could make their own PCC toros bots, the whole thing is an awesome sub-line of figures waiting to happen. Hasbro really dropped the ball by not coming up with their own decent limb sets, the possibilities are crazy.

 

If you look at either the jungle or marine sets you will see clearly what the partsforming pieces are as they are in brighter colors for those sets.

Those pieces (arms and legs) are exactly the same for chaos but painted black and orange. The core bot Paladin is a stand alone transforming figure much like any other PCC commander from hastak. It forms the whole torso and head of chaos. So if you have hastak PCC sets you could make a ridiculous looking chaos by attaching the drone limbs to Paladin

Just received my Paladin / Chaos Figure from Upgrade Commander(JP). though usually I'm not keen about 3rd party products, I must admit this is the one well-engineered transforming toy! took some cheesy pics with my cellular as a proof.

 

Omg. That thing looks like a super halloween mecha. I cant wait till i get mine from captured prey !!!

I was going to say the same thing but then again all the images of him have been fairly dark and not that well lit. I like the overall look of the figure but I don't think I will be sharing the armor with any of the other PCC commanders besides paladin.

I love EVERYTHING about this figure. It looks like a lot o fun to play with and makes for an awesome display piece. He is so beautiful. And all for $80? That's a deal and a half.

Agreed.
Once you see it in normal lighting the purple stands out much more then what we've seen. A little too much for me, so i will have fun doing a little repainting.
