The tapes have been really good quality. Its just that its a skinnier build, made at the original Micro-Cassette tape deployer dimensions.

When the pile drivers are on I like the molds proportions a lot more. I guess its more of a concept G2 colorscheme, or possibly rainmaker inspired.
Its a smaller run. So if you don't like these colors its not going to be around for as long.


Yin/Yang is preordered. Completionist standards.

 

Im #5! and proud of it! my Sonicron rules...i am only considering pre ordering cause i never got the first set...although i dont really like frequenzy molds...maybe i'll just get the rav\bat set

 

I will have this set for sale as well for all 10 people who like it. I will have more than 10 sets but from the feedback it does not look like there are a lot of us that like it.

Personally I love mine, I have the first 2 sets and my Sonicron!

 

lol this thread is slowly turning in to a sonicron support group. I happentp really enjoy my sonicron as well. Also put in for a pre-order of the nuked out color cassets. Figured if nothing else i could claim they were hidding out in chernoble with shockwave in DOTM.

I'm the same way I love these sets and already have both of the first sets and sonicron. But I don't think I'll be getting this set only because I already own the first set of tremor/frequency and because it just wouldn't fit in with most of my collection.

I recently had the opportunity to pick these two up.

I was wondering about these two. What sort of fiction do you attach to them in your mind, if any? Are they G2 versions of Frenzy and Rumble? Are they new characters who help the Constructions? Are they Autobots or Decepticons? What are their personalities?

 

I was thinking about getting these guys, and was wondering the same thing. Do they come with bios? I'm guessing not. I'm also guessing they're meant to be Decepticons, but does anyone know?

 

There is no fiction. They have no faction. They are recolors of BTS versions of Frenzy and Rumble in green and purple. That's all we know.

In early solicitations BTS had said they planned to make SG recolors after these guys, so I'd take by that information that these are NOT them.

It called these guys the "Workaholics" so that sorta implies, with the color, Constructicons?

Your post adds nothing Craftsmith, and Uninvited Ghost had a legitimate question. The toys can still be purchased online, so this is the place to ask those questions, even if there has been no activity here in 11 months.
