Staff Note: This is an unofficial product not produced or endorsed by Hasbro or Takara/Tomy Are we going to see this with all this stuff now?
Don't worry, the first promo shots of Brawn came out in December, and we only got the preorder in March for a July release. I'm guessing that Gears (and the other minibot who will be his wave-mate) will be up for preorder in July for a November release.
Kinda cool -but I wish they had done something different with his head. It looks like he's trapped in a box or something. And, please, no one show me pictures of Gears. I'm familiar with the character.
I look at this an laugh. I don't think it was too long ago people though Igear was the devil. NOW NOW...i have more Igear stuff than anything else (3rd party wise) Does his head move? OH god! His head moves! WOW!
Been waiting for this guy and others have said, IGear is quickly becoming my fav' 3rd party product go-to! Also, I love that- although it's one piece like the original toy- they found a way to move his awkwardly shaped head left to right on what appears to be a swivel. Awesome job IGear!
Exactly. I just can't see them really doing Hasbro much harm since the Igear lines are all directed at the adult collector. We're really not that big on Hasbro's radar. The bulk of their money is always going to come from the sales for children. And this I can accept. From a business stand point I don't see why they don't partner up with Igear and have them be their collector line producers. It would be a win win for everyone.
Best thing since sliced bread. I take for granted he will be the same size as Hench/Brawn. So great looking. I have Cosmos and Brawn on preorder at igear and will prorder the shit out of this little fucker when he shows up there.
I don't see an issue with stating that it's not an official product, any new collectors to the hobby could be confused. Specially if they go out to their local retail store expecting to see these on the shelf.
WOW!! Gears was one of my all time favs as a kid... This looks SO awesome and accurate. LOVE it.. The way they did the head is fantastic
^This!^ ...and I already have iGear's first release of Rager, and the Botcon version of Huffer. An upscaled scout sized iGear Rager would fit the 'Classics' bill absolutely perfectly though, especially since we are getting not-Brawn and not-Gears in the bigger size.
As excited as i am by gears (it's so bought), I really hope they release his moldmate 'shut the hell up' so he can go questing on my shelf pesterting the other to see thier altmodes. sorry for that but the Swerve has really made me smile in the comics.
