So the other ones are P/CP, G1 Breakdown and what is the last one? Scamper or Deep Cover part II?

 

Does CHMS have their own store site or anything? I've been wanting to get the Henkei Skywarp knock off since I have the TC and Sunstorm ones and I would like to keep up with what they do.

I hate paying out the ass for exclusives just because I couldn't go to botcon or something like that. Not to mention, I'm a not a picky collector. I want certain things and most of the time the things I want aren't made and probably won't. Hell, I've been waiting or a War For Cybertron Sideswipe for ages now!

 

i wish chms or tfcc would do a g2 colored starscream to go with my ramjet

Fitor
Ghost Sunstorm (or ghosts for any and all of the above!)

I'm sure there are more.

 

What I find truly fascinating about the CHMS G2 Breakdown is why they would even bother doing that figure. I could understand doing it in G1 colors or the P/CP version, but why bother with the G2 Breakdown version? I mean the aftermarket value of the G2 Breakdown is only about $60 shipped. So what moron is going to pay $43 PLUS shipping for a vastly inferior looking product. The close-ups of the head alone make it look cheap and the plastic looks like it will break easily.

your not a moron. Who cares what these "original/exclusive/kocompletists" think. They are just mad because they paid top dollar for a piece of plastic that now anyone can have in there collection if they so choose. Does it really matter who makes it? They are all coming from china anyway.

Well since you are responding to someone who is responding to a comment I made, I will assume, for the purposes of my response, that your comment is directed at me.

You completely missed the point and made a blatant assumption that has no basis in fact. No one is mad about "paying top dollar" for anything. In fact, when you break down the costs of the boxset to a per piece total, I actually ended up paying LESS for my G2 Breakdown than anyone who shells out the costs for this much cheaper quality looking KO. I'm happy when people get to have what they want. The point I was making is that, rather than CHMS offering the the G1 Breakdown repaint (which would sell a lot more a lot faster due to the fact that collectors don't already own it and no one has plans to make it) they are making a KO of a readily available figure (not just on ebay but on the message boards as well for those with the irrational disgust with dealing with the 'bay) and charging just a few dollars less than what the much higher quality original goes for.

I mean it would be one thing if you are talking about Henkei Wildrider or SG Rodimus, those CHMS KOs were being sold for HUNDREDS less than what the originals are going for. The G2 Breakdown KO is being sold for roughly 10 bucks less than market with the likely possibility that, if you transform your figure more than 2-3 times, it will break. But hey, if you got enough disposable income that you're okay with that... then I'm looking for a sugar daddy and I'll be glad to give you my number.

Logic dictates that there is no need for the CHMS G2 Breakdown. There are not enough people out there without the ability to obtain the original for a decent price. CHMS would be much better served to release a G1 Breakdown or P/CP.

And as for the asinine comment:

My comment is more directed toward the "kocompetist" (how someone who collects so many ko's can complain about ko's in every thread so much is beyond me. STOP collecting them if they are the DEVIL).
And it's also not about CHMS's breakdown. It happens with every ko. Wildrider, Rodimus, Wonderfest Prime and many more. As soon as there is a sign of a high quality ko, people (who usually already own the "real thing") start whining.
You come into one of these threads and fill it with all your complaints about "ko's are evil" "Hasbro loosing money" "Botcon toys sacred" and then one of the geniuses of the bunch decides to call people who are interested a moron?? really? Who made you almighty? You should stick to the Hasbro fanboy threads and wear your licensed gear and get pork'd from behind every time HasTak drops the ball, disappoints the fans with cancelled toys/tf lines. Fills shelves with movie crap, after all they do it for you "the one's who are so loyal", you'll pay anything for your precious plastic.

as for the food thing, I don't mind a Hamburger and will gladly pay $5 if I'm hungry than $20 for a slice of meat.

I bought a spare Classics Red Alert to bash into a G1 Breakdown but I was waiting for someone to repro the Botcon head...now if they want to do a complete figure I won't mind... 

...I'm hoping they use the Botcon head so Breakdown would match the G2 repaint.
