I was just seeing online that Headrobots is making a set called "Junk Armor". Similar to the other companies who made Junkion add-on armor and heads. Has there been any news of this?

 

Man, I am so behind the times. I didn't even KNOW there was an upgrade for ROTF Mindwipe being offered. Has it been released already? I hope not, since I'm extremely interested in it if for the only reason of giving my Mindwipe those cannons so he isn't limited to his daggers for combat.

 

What figure is that helicopter? might have to get him as the upgrade looks like it'll be awesome.

Savant and Darksol are not out yet. That is why I was surprised when I saw ANOTHER Headrobots set is coming out, the Junk Armor.

What happened to the new G1 animal headmasters they were doing? I was so excited about those. I havent bought anything from them since the cartoon faced hardhead.

 

The Iguana was still in development, last we saw. We even saw it teased on the back of one of the other toys package, but it has not gone up for preorder yet.

I just pulled out my ROTF Mindwipe to finally sell off thinking this project was dead. Holding out a tiny modicum of hope that Savant may still live

 

I was waiting for TFcon's third party panel.

 

I think they should really jump on finishing Savant since the mold is being rereleased as Drift, so easy for people to obtain

 

Okay, I always suspected that the Hasbro toy designers liked third party add-ons to do things they were allowed to do with the figures, and now I'm convinced.

A long while ago Headrobots announced Savant, to turn DOTM Skyhammer into Classic Highbrow, but this kit sorta went unproduced, except on Shapeways.



Now Hasbro is throwing out this figure:



Drift's head, on a Highbrow colored version of Skyhammer's body?

Do you think the Hasbro designers are saying "go ahead guys, we'll support you", in the only way they can?

 

^it is definitely more highbrow-esq than the original Skyhammer colours, but it's probably just a coincidence.

Lets just hope that Headrobots are still alive and kicking. because the drift would be better suited.
