I have a HFTD Tomahawk, Mindwipe and Skystalker, Strafe and Sunspot, Banzaitron and Skyhammer waiting in the boxes...the wait is killing me for these upgrades. Also need to pick up past releases...bleh...money money money.

The prices of Mindwipe have gone up ridiculously recently. I'm looking at Skyhammer too. Is there KOs of this guy or something? Tons of auctions for him on ebay from China with decent pricing.

 

Skyhammer's still a technically current toy. I can pretty much waltz into any TRU or Wal-Mart and pick him up.

 

Skyhammer has been long gone in the Sacramento area for months.

 

I havent seen Skyhammer anywhere in a while. I should have grabbed him when I had the chance.

 

I can't wait for these to come out. Highbrow was my first headmaster when I was a kid.

 

can still get them cheap enough on ebay i picked mine up for around £11 inc shipping on ebay less than a month ago

 

I have both of those figures, but I would like to have an extra to keep original. Whether or not that will happen is another thing.

 

Yeah I saw some for about $25 inc shipping from China. You got one shipped from there?

 

While I really like the darksol for RotF mindwipe, I'm not sure if I'll bite since he aesthetically doesn't mesh with my classics toys. Savant, on the other hand, might be bought ASAP since Skyhammer can sneak into the classics shelf pretty well IMO.

 

PLEASE make a head for RTS Strafe.

 

They've already said they will. Don't hold your breath, though, cause it could take sooooooo much time.

 

I don't know how much this set has to do with it, the prices have been a on a strong rise probably since the beginning of the year for whatever reason.

That said, I'm not ENTIRELY sold on Darksol, since I think the combined mode with Skystalker looks cool enough already. I really want a see a coloed version of that head before I make my final call..

Skyhammer is going for relatively good prices right now on Ebay. that might change if these upgrades are what is potentially driving these prices up. Something drove Mindwipe's prices up $20 at least.

 

Skyhammer's prices won't go up until he stops being readily available.

 

Maybe the fact that Mindwipe is two years out of production.

Skyhammer prices are tempered by still being able to find that in retail and discount stores recently.

 

Skyhammer is still on Amazon for $22 shipped
