    if it was given to me for nothing then yes lol but as that would never happen no ! now if maketoys was to do a shattered glass giant around the same time as the green i would pick that up instead of the green version

    IF they managed that I don't think it would be safe to assume there was a huge markup - remember, the toolings are really expensive. If they could halve the price for a re-release, it would be because they were able to recoup the tooling costs on the green version.

    If it would be cheaper than Herc (LOL YEAH RIGHT), then I totally would. That looks glorious in those colors.

    This is finally where the high price becomes a problem. Had the price been lower all along, purchasing repaints would have been within the realm of possibility. I agree with the earlier poster - lower the price for boxsets, go hogwild with those repaints, and I'll buy two sets in my favorite colors.

    Sorry, I could not fathom even spending $300 on another one. I am hoping that either Giant or Hercules would do a Diaclone version. That might tempt me to spend the money, but still not sure I would.

    I think it would be amazing if a third party company released toy for a team of Transformers characters who have appeared in fiction, but never got official toys themselves.

    nope. No interest for sg of any kind. Though it does kinda look cool, no way $600 cool. Not even close.

    Maybe if it were sold a little cheaper as a boxset AND something to differentiate it. A straight up recolor isn't going to cut it.
