Not as nice as the gyro garage kit they did. Ill stick to that as my whirl.

 

Im confused is there 4 feet in that packaging?

 

For what they are changing for this it should come with artwork.

 

Headrobots with another winner! I have both Tomahawk and Vortex and can't decide which figure this kit looks better on. Problem is that it looks great on both. Might have to buy two sets.

Wish HR would hurry up and get Savant and DarkSol out this year.

 

I have been waiting for those sets ever since they were announced. I think there my most anticipated pieces of the year.

 

I'm still not sure I'm gonna get these, but I was fortunate enough to get a DOTM Vortex before the price jumped as a result.

 

Finally! We gonna be Wrecking and Ruling soon!

 

The feet are split into two parts each so you can slide them into the holes left over from removing the stock feet.

Tomahawk's head is great, the Vortex head is the one that sucks. And yes, I'd like to eventually get about 7 Tomahawk heads.

 

^ I actually kinda dig the Vortex head. I may swap it on to Generations Sky Shadow's body and just call him Snare (from Last Stand of the Wreckers; Sky Shadow's head I butchered for his head spikes on a Fort Max head kitbash for FP Steel Core's body).

Already preordered on BBTS. I have Tomahawk posed up in my Classics Wreckers display (wielding MGS's Hound guns since the colors match him very well) -- I guess he's Whirl before the mono-eye "facelift". XD I have two DOTM Vortex's and I do like him as "Blackout" in my TFP Display next to AM Scorponok. Not sure which mold I'll use for the Drone upgrade but I keep hoping HR will make a Rotorstorm upgrade kit for the DOTM Vortex mold; the colors are pretty much spot on already for the character.

 

i can't wait to rip that head off lol. the sunglasses look bugs me.

I'll wait for the official Whirl toy later this year, it has a much better head-mold that I can use for kitbash. PLus, it'll be much cheaper-

 

This is ok, but its just not Whirl to me without the pincer hands.
