Long time maker of Smallest Transformers clone toys Heerotoysmaker has opened an online store featuring many of his creations, including his latest work, called "WST Soundblaster" - a great rival for the Justitoys Twincast toy. heerotoys
Redirects me to the mobile site ( on my phone ), which is a blank page with just "hero" at the top. I guess I'll check it out when I get home.
iGear rips off Takara: bad. Heero rips off Takara: sweet. Just saying. (For the record, I do own a few Heero WST figures.)
Same e-commerce platform powering them, I'd wager. The real question to me (having just gone through customizing a platform for the relaunch last year), is whether the "swoosh" graphic is swiped, or is actually something that originally came from that platform as a default included option... *EDIT* I think he took the source code from their site and altered it...found this little nugget in line 161 of the source code for the page: <h2>TFsource News</h2> Could explain why the tabbed homepage system and all the menu script is broken, too.
Same reason why the hate toward iGear is brought up in every single thread about iGear (and other non-iGear threads!)...
Takara abandoned the Smallest line years ago and Hasbro said they will NEVER use the molds. So I don't think anyone cares if someone copies it now. Takara and Hasbro still make Masterpiece toys. David at Heero tells me that Clampdown, Deep Cover and recolors of Smallest Ravage are in the works.
