I was just speaking from an optimistic-outside perspective, not my personal beliefs in the matter. Just a little FYI. ;)

Oh no no no, I meant it when I said what you said was logical. Until someone later pointed out that IF the moulds were indeed sold why are they producing figures with so many flaws and differences?

I stand by my claim that whoever this KO group is, they have taken a personal interest in trying to squash FP and MT.

Fascinating indeed. Out of curiosity, what is the stated rationale for forcing purchases online from overseas?

Has anybody bought the movie right for all of this? Just when I thought the whole third-party/intellectual property kerfuffle couldn't get more interesting (I'm pre-law, with plans to make IP law my specialty), it does.

Maybe I should comb through for some data, then take the best bits and fabricate it all into a truthy one man show. Oh wait, someone already did that.

I will not be buying any KO's. 3rd party toys have been something I enjoy so much that I feel a responsibility to support the people who make them. I also have chosen never to buy the iGear seekers ( I do badly want them ).

its great for this KO to come out... maybe for customs? But honestly, I'd urge (for what its worth) against this. Because by us supporting something like this... it indirectly makes us not supporting 3rd party, and how can they develop awesome toys without the funding, you know?

I don't think their trying to put them out of business. Their just doing what they always do, ko a toy and make easy money off of it. I like to think of ko makers as a parasite. They only lose if they put them out of business.

Original costs $103. KO is less than half. 3P should think about lowering their prices. That's the only way to squeeze KO's out of business.

HORY SHET!! Dam thats tempting, the main reason I passed on MT tanker was because of the steep price tag. If QC is good, I may have to throw morals out the window :lol

LOL. Wonder how the 3rd parties feel about their 'ip' being ripped off?

I'm not into the KO companies that knock off 3rd party products. It could be hypocritical of me, but it's one thing to infringe IP on the big guy, it's a completely different thing when companies go after the little guy.

As long as third party KOs have poor fitting/tabbing, sloppy paint jobs, and warping in the molding, I think 3rd parties are gonna remain ok. Not even gonna' lie.

people won't find this KO tempting if Maketoys just pull the trigger right now and say "to hell with you fans, we are stopping Giant development" or something :p
