Yeah, I made a boo boo. I corrected it just before you posted. I switched out MGS for Impossible Toys TRNS-01.

 

The eternal rule, ass-shots sell products.

Even giant robot ninja ass-shots.

 

Wow its like stepping back in time.

if this was say 2002 I could totally see people going for it but the 3rd party have stepped up their A-Game and frankly $100 with some rather "interesting" box art is just not going to cut it

 

Yeah, with the stuff coming out in the near future this just gets bumped to the end of the line. And it will stay there if the price stays the same.

 

I want that but it's not a priority at the moment, especially at that price.

 

That plastic looks kinda iffy, especially for that selling price.

 

Just opened mine, and frankly it isn't THAT bad. Needs some work but there's nothing I can't fix. I can't imagine paying $120 for it, that's robbery.

For $30 I'm happy with it, the Nightbird spot is now filled.

hahah, am i the only one who preordered it?!?!?! not happy at all about the price but still interested in the piece. i think the proto pictures showed it with some diecast parts so yeah, i paid $70 more than what you guys think is a fair price to get some chunks of metal, hahahah

i have the tfcon nightbird and the impossible toy one, i think i just like really obscure references and it's kind of cool a robot from one episode has had 3 incarnations so far.

 

I have had it preordered..... I know it doesn't transform, but I have been REALLY happy with the quality of the "Delicate Warrior" Arcee figure. This is by far the best version IMHO to have a Nightbird figure, and if I am to have a Nightbird figure, I want one that I am going to be happy with.

I bought iGear's Arcee when she was available a few years back & I've heard that the same French guy is behind this Nightbird too. Sure she's bloody expensive but if you can afford it (their Arcee is one brilliant Classics-verse figure), I'd definitely consider this Nightbird as well.

 

It is the same person making this...... I'd like to see more on the prototype for MGT-02 Firestar we saw a long time ago. =)

In the end I decided to pass on it. Looks good by all means, but too pricey for a non-transformer... and those PE Arcees' are too tempting - I just had to choose. But as mentioned above - I'd really like to hear more about Firestar and girls.  

 

Not sure if that's the "final" price on Nightbird. I still wouldn't buy it, either way..

 

That'll be $119, plus shipping.

 

BBTS Preorder with new pics! I'm a little tempted to buy it but I'm not ready to drop $119.99 on it.
