    I love the idea in principle, but in practice this doesn't work for me I'm afraid.

    This seems to indicate that it is a Shapeways print kit, though it is still a bit ambiguous.

    If so, it is a shame, but not unexpected.
    Still, lovely design.

    A shapeways kit? That means no paint and an unfinished gross looking sandpaper texture on all the parts. Still excited?

    Not worth $30, no way. If this targetmaster is $10 - http://www.shapeways.com/model/154218/ then how is this $30?

    Good idea. I'd rather it was a bit less G1-accurate and more blended into the general shape of the jet when joined up.

    yeah, damn looks like a shapeways kit. will probably pick at least one up for sure though. great work!

    the size is a lot bigger than the targetmaster and they probably added a bit to make a profit.

    i wouldn't look down on shapeways for the future, the affordable 3d printing industry is still pretty fresh and i'm sure with time the prints will get higher and higher res.

    aww...man! just read that this would go theway of being a Shapeways kit.... that said there is no reason they cant paint it up and make it decent...for $30 to boot!

    I'll reserve final judgement until I see the finished molded product with the new mount, but no way in hell is an unpainted shapeways model worth $30. Molded in color with a paint app or two, perhaps.

    FB's Thuggers are about $10, which are smaller than the minicons. This is about the size of the minicon, so the cost goes up as well.

    I love this idea, its something I hope someone would get to. Though I think Id rather have a replacement for the drone than something that clips onto the drone. Will keep an eye on this. Plan on buying for TW and BS.
