![]() He wrote that he took it with a 5 second exposure. It has nothing to do with ISO. The longer the exposure, the more light your lens has time to absorb. With an average shutter speed for a controlled lighting pic probablu being about 1/20th-1/40th of a second, then that should explain how much light 5 seconds can bring in. ![]() Latest Feature: Fewture Models EX Gokin Shin Getter 1 (With GettMachine Eagle) ![]() My Sales My Wants My Feedback Last edited by TJ Duckett; 05-13-2012 at 09:13 AM.. | ||

For all intents and purposes, you probably could just copypasta the setting you see on other shots and see what that does... or again, ask a pro like TJ Duckett over here... always on these threads. ;p Quote:
I have this crappy makeshift light room... so it wasn't pitch black in the first place. That probably is it. I feel like retrying this now that I found my tripod... brb. ...yea... it was the lighting all right... =. So I put some poster boards around the box I had set up... here's the first two results... about 2s exposures each: ![]() ![]() ...still a bit bright... forgot the front of the area needed covering... so I improvised further... tossed a sweater in front.. LOL. Here's the results, with 8s exposure now that it was almost pitch black: ![]() ![]() Shot in "Manual" Mode... but tbh... it's kinda like the other presets my camera has... you can tweak three variables at best: F-Setting, Shutter Speed, and ISO... *smh* ![]() CodeXCDM's Feeback Thread | Horatio Devastator!!! | Best/Amusing Forum Sigs ***SALE: CHUG, GDO, Arms Micron, PCC, and More!
