Thanks to TFC's early teasers of Exgraver brandishing a curious claw weapon... I found out about the TFC "Ghost of Screamer" kits... namely the 2nd one that featured this claw item (as a belt?) and Shockwave Gun for MP Starscream to use.

I noticed this a while back... but the gun fits on FP Bruticus' hands *perfectly*!!!

And for laughs... here he is about to kill off the two pack "Ultimate Battle" Deluxe Prime... who's not that great of a figure tbh...

Now... the Deluxe G2 Megatron from the same pack... on the other hand... I find to be quite neat. In fact, he makes a good Gestalt limb!

And this second one is theoretical... but if you can modify the chest to fit in an Energon port, he makes a decent leg mode too!

So a while back... I saw this really cool alternate Arm Mode transformation for Brawl... and a great reason to show Double Bruticus anyway...

Anyway... the Arm Mode is actually just a smidge shorter than Vortex and FP Explorer without the hand bits...

And you can attach the FP arm bits meant for Vortex on Brawl in this manner... bit gappy but still works.

The neat thing about this arm configuration is that it's just as articulate as Vortex and Explorer's arm modes are. The upside-down tank even provided the shoulder articulation that the missile blocks normally provide the FP arms.

Last... and most certaintly not least... back to the "Standard" configuration... here's a terrifying shot with *ALL* guns pointed at the camera. Yes, even Swindle's piddly gun.

    BRUTICUS DEVASTATE DEVASTATOR!

So what does the original Energon Bruitcus look like with no add-on's or any limbs exchanged with other characters?

I just got back into collecting in Dec, and I have yet to find an original picture of Energon Bruticus, that I know of.

How many 3rd party limbs are out of it? and do they work with any other brutici?

    whoa...

    Double Brut is BITCHIN!

Cool alternate arm config for Brawl too.

Although the Energon combiners get a lot of flack, I think one of their most redeeming qualities are the numerous fan-made transformations.

I know right? Really makes me wish I had a 3rd set of Bruticus to have one version in the Double Configuration. (I had the FP kit for 2 months, bit the bullet on an Energon Bruticus... only to find the RotF one a week after. Oi)

The Energon figures, at least with FP Enhancements and fan-based modifications... are actually quite neat. The problem was just that the designers somehow didn't see that slight transformation tweaks would've made *far* better limb modes (like the Tank Arm posted earlier) and if they didn't *have* to use Glowy Weapons/Hands/Feet as part of the Energon gimmick.

Honestly... if Has/Tak would re-engineer the concepts from Energon a bit... make add-on or partsforming accessories that form *good* hands/feet... I think they'd make good Gestalts. FP Bruticus and TFC Hercules are *great* examples of good accessories or partsforming bits to aid in *SOLID* Gestalts.

Really is a nice figure. Can't really call it Arcee/Chromia or what have you though... Wish I knew of a good repurposing for it... and I had the money to grab it... haha. (100 bucks is a bit much for what looks to be a larger Deluxe class figure)

You obviously need to post more stuff here ^^

We really are in the motorcyle Transforming Robot renaissance here, aren't we? Ever since Animated Prowl, they've just been getting better and better.
