    I second this, as it makes it easier to pull this board up and the reason given for the split was the high number of posts and replies that were occurring in the News and Rumors board.

    This is doomed to failure. What's hot is hot and segregating it out will just make the boards more difficult to navigate.

    This is good, I like it. Easier to browse this way, and good for people (not me) who don't care about 3rd party (i.e. they don't have to skip those threads in the main Toy discusson).

    As I said in the other thread, I don't mind a third party forum. With the amount of attention it's been getting, it deserves it.

    But I avidly disagree with segregating the NEWS elements as well. None of the other forums (toys, movies, etc.) are forced to those forums when it's news. Why should third party news be treated that way?

    I thought news would stay in the news forum regardless of what it was (that's how I read Tony's last post) but we're already seeing news lock downs in the News/Rumors forum. So that rather confirms the segregation.

    Hopefully in the next month we'll flush this whole thing out. But right now I'm very mixed. Like the forum, but we need adjustments.

    Not a fan, but I can understand why.

    This is going to become a giant mess unless is categorized in a similar fashion to the rest of the boards though. There's more news coming from 3rd parties then there is from official products. It's a bad idea to take all that news/post/fan rage-love, and dump it all together in one box.

    I like how official stuff was getting buried. The irony disappears after you segregated it. Feels more like you guys bowed down to the almighty Tak/Bro after they whined that the official stuff were not getting the attention it deserved.

    Now we need to split it up into 3rd party news, 3rd party reviews, 3rd party general talk, 3rd party comics, etc.

    BTW - Wouldn't Mosiac be considered a "3rd party" comic?

    If we are doing a specific board for the 3rd party toys, could we also make subdivision boards between pictorial and video reviews, please? just like in the feedback board.
