It had positives and negatives. But the thin limbs, fragility, bad face, and most of all the horribly oversized and overweighted fusion cannon were pretty bad.

That said...I still love mine  

 

Don't forget the cosmic rust.

 

Haven't had that issue so far, fortunately. Fingers crossed.

 

Can't wait to get one!

That and the Mastermind Creations KM-03 Cyclops (Shockwave) look like incredible third party toys.

Thanks all, I'm feeling quite confident in the performance of Hegemon so far, very pleased to see the response to him compared to KM-03 Cyclops.

 

Really? Cyclops not being ordered as much?

 

Pricetag is a bit high all over.

 

I can only speak for myself, but the reveal of FOC Shockwave kind've squashed any desire I had to pick up Cyclops.

 

I do like the FOC Shockwave. But he's small enough to be Cyclop's gun.

I guess it depends on what you focus your collections on. If you collect CHUG toys, most of them are deluxe class, so FOC Shockwave will fit in nicely.

FOr me, most of my focus is on MP toys. At least, for the deceptions. For this reason alone, Cyclops fills in the Shockwave gap nicely. That is, until they make a G1 MP scale Shockwave.  

Still, I love FOC Shockwave enough to pick him up, regardless of his scale. I'm hoping some KO company upscales him to a much larger figure somewhere down the road.

 

I would have bought Cyclops... But there's just too many things that take priority. I might get him down the line. Hegemon... That guy kicks ass and its at a pretty reasonable price. I just wish they'd get rid of that translucent red plastic.

 

I know, right? What is with 3rd party companies and their obsession with translucent red plastic? (TFC Hercules guns, now Hemegon).

Too funny. Let's hope that plastic doesn't find it's way to the final production run.

 

My preorder will be coming soon for KM-03   I really would hate for Cyclop's performance to be lackluster, as amazing as he looks. I started picking up the other HoS MMC characters just to display with him.

I can't speak for others, but I'm waiting on reviews for cyclops even though I'm extremely interested in him. He looks great, but he also looks like an awful lot could go wrong.

Still, G1 megatron outperforming a somewhat niche and expensive shockwave shouldn't surprise too much.

 

I can't blame you for waiting. We have no idea really what the QC will be like on a first run. I can only hope MMC has stepped their game up though, but it's a risk I'll take for now.

 

I'm going to assume part of the reason that Hemegon is doing better at Captured Prey than Cyclops is that Captured Prey is the only place you can get Hemegon, rather than being able to get Cyclops from any number of other places.

 

Only place state side probably. RK has had him up for a while.
