I broke the neck on thrust, which I plan to fix today with an epoxy that's much stronger than the plastic. I may sell him, considering what these guys go for now...

My Thrust came missing a hand, but BBTS took great care of me and sent out a replacement.

the only problem is the price. No way they're worth what they're going for now

Agreed! The plastic quality is crap, the figures can't stand on their own, and most likely we will get an official Masterpiece version of these characters.

I had all three and I agree with this post. I kept them for about a year, but sold them because official versions can't be too far off. The plastic felt too rigid and potentially brittle. They were difficult to keep standing without their stands (much more difficult than the standard Seekers), and their head sculpts were just OK, not great. Considering what they sell for, I figured it was best to put them up for auction while I could still make my money back.

I think the plastic is fine. I do wonder sometimes what some of you guys get upto with your toys if you are afraid of breaking them!

My only issue with the coneheads (as stock) is the stability, they are fuckers to get stood properly at times and are in dire need of MP11 heel spurs.

i thought the plastic was better than MP-5 and on par with mp11, the the plastic color is really beautiful too. thrust's has a shimmer to it, and he is by far the favorite seeker i own, i have 6. ive had breaks in the plastic on takara skywarp, i think it gets brittle.
the breakgage i meantion above on thrust was due to not placing the head correctly to pull through the body during transformation, user error.

Right out of the box one of the tips on Jet's tail fins cracked. Also, I am very careful with my Transformers, but you can really tell the difference with quality plastic vs cheap. And, with almost every I-Gear figure I've bought there have been some type of plastic cracking issues. The plastic was too soft, and crumbled. This other part was molded too thin and cracked. This thick part which should be sturdy is showing stress marks. I'm sorry, but I know cheap plastic when I handle it.

I'm pretty sure they will. Just not fast enough sadly.

I just bought these badboys from Ed/ToyDojo after a kind member informed me he had them at botcon.

They were used, and apparently in perfect condition - so I am hoping no QC/broken stuff

Congrats! They should be fine. I got all 3 of mine from different previously owned sources and I had no issues.

I love all three, but Ramjet is my favorite! No QC issue on mine and they are a centerpiece in my collection!

All of mine have some degree of issue with the fake chest tabbing in. Igear should have made it a peg instead of a tab. Thrust never stays put and Ramjet is the most solid.

I think some people here are talking about the iGear MP Coneheads and others are referring to the NEW Con Air iGear Raptor Coneheads. Lets try not to confuse the two sets.

On the flip side after using these for various customs I kinda know how far you can push them.
