Yes. I guess, I should have done a shot with them having the generators as gorilla arms and attaching the drivers at the end.. Let me see what I can do.
I trimmed a little of Dump Truck to give me more clearance on the front grill. I won't replace it unless it breaks, but I don't have any stress marks on him. How do you even unscrew the grill? The only screws I see over there are on his shoulders. The only figure I have stress marks on are Mobile Crane; small hairline at the middle joint and on the purple tab there as well.
Ahhh, I thought I'd gotten lucky with no QC issues on my set... but one of the flaps on Long Haul was suspiciously loose. While mine didn't BREAK, the piece that holds the pin is cracked all the way through on one side. So still functional, but also... still cracked. Normally minor issues become much larger when we're talking about expensive figures. Luckily, there's the fix with set C coming. I could email BBTS about it, and probably get a replacement... but then that would be me being a complete tool. Also, thanks for the clarification about the replacement parts coming with set C. I hope the new head will let it look up a little bit more. I bet cutting away some of the plastic at the base of the neck (the black painted yellow plastic, that is) might give him some better range of movement... but I'm a little uncomfortable taking a knife to these guys without having backup.
Worked out a little under £50 a figure for me but that includes postage which is around the same price as FP not-insecticons and although not as complex they are a fair bit bigger.
Alright. My photobucket may be borked but here's some stuff I threw on my imgur. Not the best since I just took them on my floor, but hey. So here's the head mechanism for those wondering. Here is where it is still a "foot" From the back now: Slide it over to the left. Back to the front and twist the helmet backwards. The face is static, but the helmet moves like the Punch/Counterpunch heads work. And there you go. Photos make it look like he's smiling. In hand he doesn't. Weird. Let's get some of dat Dump Truck. Like I said before I prefer that the shoulder kibble be folded down like big shoulder pads. I really like his fists Yep. Face: Modified Crane time: This little nifty step is so little but adds a good bit to the look. See how the wheel isn't flush and the inside part sticks out in the inner thigh? Well push it out. It moves the whole leg below that point over. And looks like this: And you can do this too: Sup guys: And then I screwed around while my camera died I found out you could do this. Hey ladies. And then I screwed with the combined mode. It hurts to live.
