I don't mind the blue windows, but I'd probably buy a Reprolabels set that has stickers to make them purple.

I like the blue windows, along with the red/white-black/yellow striping details that they have thrown on the vehicles. It helps to keep the colors broken up and doesn't allow Giant to fall into the same trap as Hercules. While many would say that Hercules is better, one thing I've always fely about them is that they were too plain. Everything is green, purple, and black, with a few small splashes of silver. If TFC were to have painted a few other details it would've greatly improved their overall look asthetically, esspecially in vehicle mode. This is one aspect I believe MT has shined. My 2 cents.

I see your point about the color and details breaking up the main scheme of green/purple/black, but I REALLY could have done without the red and white stripes. I mean, I would have prefered they just stick with the yellow and black stripes throughout, like on the G1 toys. Especially since this version is the "type 61" and all.

Woah! Where did that chainsaw weapon come from? Is it something that came with the Yellow Maketoys Giant, or a random weapon for the photoshoot? Either way, I'd love to try and source one out somewhere.

Sorry to say that it's a little hard to find now though. amiami was a great place but currently out of them after a sale. Prices are good and it took about a week. I only got the gatling gun #20. But good stuff.

Ebay is a okay place to look too but currently nothing either.

Pricing is about 9-20 USD though. Depends on where you find it.

And the chain works too!!! :)

Though it says back-order, it's actually available to purchase.

WHolly crap...how many posts are going to be about the OTHER 3rd party chainsaw and other weapons that have nothing to do with GG? Make a separate thread.....Every 5 or 10 pages someone who hasn't been watching this thread comes in, sees pics, and starts the talk all over again....

Even if you have another thread, some stragglers will still end up here and ask same old questions... It might be better if the OP puts up a link on the first post. Though, I doubt that people will read it.

That's how I found out about them. I say it's okay if it's something to help enhance the enjoyment of the big guy. :)

I know but can't we start a thread about those accessories and just point those people to it? :)

You guys really think this Kotobukiya stuff is thread worthy? Serious question, not meant to be sarcastic or anything.

I mean, a thread devoted just to Giant's accessories/add-ons could work maybe, but not just these Kotobukiya kits. Especially since they're not really a 3rd party company.

It would belong in the toyark section.
