They look cool and all, but I'm still sticking with Hercules. I'm not keen on all of these designs for Giant, but they do look like me cool transformations. - Gregg
Hooray, now we get to see what should have been shown to us months ago. yay? Stickin with Herc, even with the QC issues
Well thats cool but still unless the price is affordable it'll probably be a while. I am just in love with what TFC is offering so much more right now.
they look like good classics updates, but I was really hoping for a more G1 approach to them :/... Scrappers TF would have been a little better suite for BC if you ask me.
I couldn't care less for the individual bot modes. Once I get them they will be in Devastator mode always. Just waiting for them to be released in the original colours.
Strange how "Hook" and "Mixmaster" retain a good amount of their G1 appearances, while the other four deviate significantly ("Bonecrusher" and "Scavenger" not even having head designs particularly analogous to their original selves). That said, I do like the robot designs on their own merits, which make them somewhat tempting in that regard. But the full Hercules set does a better job of capturing the Constructicons' look in all of their modes, IMO.
It's interesting that this was a reveal when these pics were ready so long ago. Does this actually signify anything, like "coming soon" or something?
Cool stuff, I like how the bot modes aren't too slavish to G1. It will make this Devy even more different than the TFC one.
Really like the looks of Hook and Mixmaster, but the others don't look that great at all. Moot point since I went with Herc anyway.
i find these guys much more uneven than tfc's they certainly have a couple that surpass herc's bots, a couple that are on par, one that's below and then long haul. LH is a decent looking robot, but he does't look like a constructicon.
I fucking love Long Haul. FINALLY somebody decide to move forward with the designs and try something different. Shame the rest look more or less like the same guy with some different kibble. Best part, barely any combienr kibble. The lower arms and head, that's it. And teh arms turn into useful, practical accesories. Not just feet that are sort-of guns, or arm connectors as blocks of technology. They're little generators, from the looks of it. Something you'd naturally find at a construction site, possibly attached to one of the vehicles.
Hmm. These are cool. Not perfect, but the designs are much more inspired than hercules' members, which all look pretty generic and flat. Will be a happy purchase.
i get where you're coming from. i just never look at the constructicons as thugs. too me they've always been these scientists that happen to turn into a massive force.
I'm with Valhysas. thes indivual bots look loads more characterful than the Hercules components. HEre's hoping for a reasonable price.
