g1 upper menasor head

they updated their blog with this (guessing for the Animated Menasor)

and this text :

We know we know... it is not as much as we would liked to have given. Trust us, if we could we would have it for sell right now. This project is a huge undertaking, especially for designers that can only work on this part time.

So far here is some info:
The set will be limited to at max 1,500 sets.
BBTS and Toyarena.com will be our US distributers.
We are looking to have a full prototype complete by October.

This is an EXTREMELY early W.I.P. for the head of "MENACE". It is a quick digital mock-up as we are sculpting and building before we fine tune him in cad..There will be changes.

That actually looks pretty neat. Don't think it looks Animated-styled enough though.

i know its still early, but not feeling much of an animated vibe yet. looks like a quick sketch too as both sides of the head are not the same, the right goes slim and down and the left is large and sticking straight out.

i cant see many ppl excited over that drawing alone.

Don't like the look and a probably expensive upgrade to an expensive figure set, feeling underwhelmed. I want a proper menasor combiner and for the price this set is gonna end up costing I think a custom one would be cheaper and better. Come on G1uppers show us something actually G1
