You know, I still like sketches 3 and 5 from a few pages back. It'd be neat if they offered different heads for the kit.

Well, I take that back. Full body shot looks amazing. Recolor and make him an autobot and you have a Wrecker.

 

That's badass, I can see Wez. But who would be his man-boy lover?  

 

I like that roadwarrior inspired sketch. It works with what I heard the Animated Stunticons are...Travelling Actors. Your sketch really does have that "showman" "preformer" feel to it.


If I were the guys from G1Uppers I would not hesitate to use Wyatt's design. You now have a product to promote that technically involves the original character designer for the series. I think having this product connected to DJW will increase sales.

I was on the fence about this because I do not have the Stunticons but if they use DJW's head I will buy it. It may be a 3rd party product but at that point I would consider it an official Animated design.

*edit* This is why I love TFW2005. I come into a thread to talk about a head and just happen upon the opportunity to personally thank the man who designed one of the best TF series in Tf history ( my opinion). Fn Awesome!

Animated was the one series I fell in love with from the cartoon, to the toys and it really got me back into collecting after a break of 20 years really... to the point that I nearly have everything (with the obvious exception of Minerva right now)
My other half would curse you.. but me personally think you deserve to be in the TF Hall of Fame

Josh's full-body Menasor looks like a standalone character / Lockdown's older brother. I LIKE IT.

Now... as for the two heads... I say they make BOTH Josh's and DJW's. There's just sooo awesome.

I like it, but I still think the head design is a minute concern compared to the engineering it's going to take to pull this off effectively.

I wonder what the naysayers would say now that DJW has given em a hand with the design.

 

Just going to say it the news title "offical menasor head" bugs me no end. Just because DJW drew a head does not make it official... its like saying that a personal sketch from any past or current hasbro artist is in some way official art.

as for the art itself its better then the fan toy designs by quite a bit... tho I still like Josh's the most
