You've got the fixed shovel arm, which has a much thicker pivot for the base. (this was included instead of the original after the very first run or two) It might still be a wise idea to sand the teeth on the shovel's ratchet a little so it's not so stupidly tight.

The Heavy Labor mod involves disassembling his waist/crotch to stick a bit of lube in there, as initial copies lacked it and the teeth of the hip ratchets would sheer off when moved. I kind of doubt this is a concern with yours, as they corrected the problem in subsequent runs of Heavy Labor. (initial runs of Neckbreaker included a replacement waist/crotch, and I don't think Uranos, Ares, or Prometheus suffer from that problem...)

 

oh, yeah, my long haul has a crotch screw most others don't seem to have in pics so i guess mine is fine, lol.

 

out of all the 3P combiners the only one i have kept is the SG repaint. just love the mold

and giving then fact it;s the first full 3P combiner made i still think it;s one of the best and has held up quite will

 

you just do not have the hole plug installed. they all came with out the plugs in you had to do that your self if you wanted too

 

Yeah, I wouldn't be complaining if I had spent under $100. But for the original price, it's not even worth it. I think the upcoming takara one blows this one away

 

I only got the Hercules ko because I don't like how big cw/uw devastator is compared to the other combiners, aside from his size I think the new official one looks amazing

 

  Love this retro Hercules G1 box art. Devy is one of my favorites and that new Takara release looks good. I hope they also do a proper MP Devy in the future as well. I'd love to have a small Devy collection. That mini one looks awesome too.

 

Funny, because the HasTak reveal made me run for the hills and get Herc. Mine balances fine, is rocking the RoH kit and shapeways addons, and the CrazyDevy head. Looking friggin' beast  

 

Oh it blows alright. To even compare that travesty to herc and say it is better is just ridiculous.

I'd say hit up BBTS and see if they happened to have any junk ones laying around with a sacrificial arm you can use. Never know.

Question for anyone using the Rage set...

I took it off for the first time last week and the shoulder connectors were deadly tight.

I actually had to take one apart to remove it from Hook.

Is this common or did I do something wrong in attaching them?

 

Mine were stubborn too.
